That would be considered the 12 O'clock position. Have you tried the other ( 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, and 6 O'clock) positions? Keep working your way 'down' and Kegel at the other clock positions. If the only place you see, feel tugback is 12 O'clock, then that would suggest a very high LOT. Most do not believe LOT Theory is valid , so, would probably suggest that you do not concern yourself with determining yours.

The Loss Of Tugback Theory, is simply that....a theory! However, there is no evidence supporting its validity at all except for anecdotal experience. Some say they have gained from it, but that is what you call a post hoc fallacy. I'm sure they would've gained just the same without it. So, if I were you I wouldn't think too much of it.

You do have a point, there is a flaw in the flow of logic in LOT theory. Maybe someone should do a legitimate study to better understand this.

However, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it. From my understanding, all it really does is tells you the best directions to stretch in.It would be better to utilize it and have nothing happen than to ignore it and never know what could have been.

By stretching in all directions, you cover all the basis. The LOT theory is very interesting and seems to make sense if you look at it with a common sense attitude. The problem is that no confirmed attributes have come from it. Just concentrate on a good quality all direction stretch routine for the best possible results. This is suggested by all the knowlegable Vets here at the gym :thumb:
