I've heard that hitting a woman's cervix is like kicking a guy in the balls, but I think most guys can agree that massaging their balls gives a pretty good feeling. Is this similar with a cervix? If it was gently rubbed, would it be a pleasurable experience, or is it just always painful.

For a lot of women, hitting their cervix is very painful. I would suggest if you have a really long penis to ask her if you are hurting her. Some can take it all without any pain and some can't.

This is one where I really have no idea. I am not sure if anyone has ever hit my cervix, but what I know about anatomy suggests that they probably have. My guess is that it is something that varies a lot among women, and that it doubtless also has to do with penis length, sexual positions, and how hard you are going. As Nikki suggested, the most important thing for is always to ask your partner if you suspect that something -- ANYTHING -- that you are doing might be hurting them.

So for most women, any contact at all is painful?

Well Wordup,

For my girlfriend, it does not hurt. She even enjoys it, more if I bang it really hard. I think what Batwoman means is that some women like it, some don't. It's up to you to find out if she does or doesn't.

I wonder if childbirth has anything to do with the sensitivity. The cervix changes after a woman has her first child. To note, my GF has not had children. Any comments ladies, if you don't mind?

I read a reply on a different forum from a woman who is an Australian porn star. She had gone on for paragraphs about how at times, when she was highly aroused, giving the cervix a gentle nudge could set off an orgasm. However, sensitivity of the cervix most likely varies as greatly as other organs in that area from woman to woman. Also, she had indicated that it really only worked when she was on top and could control the pressure exerted on the cervix. Even for the same person, each sexual encounter gave different cervical sensations, sometimes pleasant, sometimes orgasmic, sometimes irritating. The cervix seems less like a G-Spot, and more of an occasional enhancement to pleasure, when it is receptive to stimulation, and only if her cervix responds in a positive way to pressure. I'd say it's similar to how some men can stand rough handling of the testicles and it adds to their pleasure. Other men wouldn't be able to walk straight after the same act.

I wonder if hitting the cervix depends on a woman's level of arousal too, or it may even vary with her mood (i.e. hard thrusting vs gentle strokes, more oral vs more vaginal).

I would say it's possible to arousal and mood affecting the cervix, as both of those affect how a woman responds to stimulation of other sexual areas. My point was that what works for one person may not at all for someone else. Some women may find that at any given time stimulation of the cervix may only produce irritation. I wish there were a study of female response to stimulation of non-traditional arousal areas. I also wonder how a woman's monthly cycle might play a part in variations of cervical sensitivity.

2 excellent posts P.Nuzz. You've brought up some food for thought. This could turn into quite a topic of discussion.. 1 rep point, for you. (jP

I agree with jp, this is a great post, and it's a great answer to my question. Since all women are different, some like a gentle amount of pressure, some wouldn't like it at all. I suppose an even better way to check is rather than do it and ask if it hurts her, just let her find out for herself.

It depends on a lot of different factors. It could be painful if they aren't warmed up yet, the shape of the penis, the hardness of the head, also some women's cervix is just more sensitive than others. Generally what you want to try to go around the cervix. This type of pleasure is very strong, rather than like an itch it's like they are feeling something very different. Some describe it as feeling something in a holographic body, because it's a nervous system branch that isn't dominant or completely integrated. The cervix itself probably gets some pleasure when they suck and can feel the heat from the penis head.

:agree: Generally, I think women find banging into their cervix painful--that is hitting it and following through as they have a shortish vagina. While most I have done it with disliked it, I have had more than one woman enjoy it much more than I did--while I like to feel it, sometimes it feels like hitting the edge of a dull knife . If you find the right position where the tip of your penis just touches it, that would be great for both in most cases. It is very fulfilling to fill and be filled with your partner. But, if a woman is properly warmed-up, she is going to have a deeper vagina and is more likely to enjoy even very hard pounding and maybe enjoy cervix bangin'. So, hitting it a few or even several times during intercourse can be good, but repeatedly slamming into it will likely be painful for both.

Maybe we should start a new group: Cervix Bangers, what do you all think?

My experience (as a man) has been as follows: I have been able to contact the cervix of a little over half the women I have slept with but sometimes only in certain positions. A quick "box" to the cervix is nearly universally unwelcome, IME.

Some women seem to like to have their cervix "nudged" with deep penetration and others do not. Some like it at certain times of the month and not others (my wife's cervix became very sensitive when she was ovulating). Some women welcome "controlled" cervical contact when they are very aroused and near orgasm but not otherwise.

But there was one women whose cervix I would bang fairly regularly and she didn't seem to notice at all.

I agree with the above posts. There have been 2 cases in my past that stick out. One being a most recent partner it was just "uncomfortable" when I would put it in and it would bump the cervix. Didn't hurt per se, just stopped and there was no way to shove any more in.

The other was my ex who loved when I was all the way in her and it would rub her cervix. She liked to ride and grind. :)

I think it depends on a couple things; the woman and the way it's being hit.

My ex loved to ride and grind so the very tip of my penis would rub it. If I put her legs up on my shoulders while I was bangin' her I would hit it 100% of the time if I went in about 90% of the way. Regular missionary that would happen if I didn't warm her up enough and I went in all the way. Doing that and hitting it kinda hard would hurt her and make us have to stop for that day.... and sometimes for a couple days afterwords.

When and why did Nikki get banned?

Nikki was banned by the administrators for very serious ethical misconduct. The banning is permanent and she will not be back. She had already voluntarily left the forums so many people did not notice the banning, but it happened over a month ago.

To answer the OP's question:

I think this varies a lot from woman to woman, situation to situation, sexual encounter to sexual encounter.

I know some women can NOT have their cervix touched, at ALL. I know some who find it SUPER arousing when it is hit. [ they swear it's the key to their orgasm, but who knows? ]

When a woman becomes sufficiently aroused, the cervix is suppose to sort of "contract" & pull itself out of the way so the penis can enter.

I know for a while, due to birth control meds, my body was not in-tune with my mind. So even tho I'd be mentally over the edge & ready for a good fuck, my body didn't agree with me. I can think of 2 times where Hubby bumped my cervix & holy sh*t did it hurt!!!

Now, when I'm super aroused, it can be pleasurable for hubby to hit it during sex, but really I'd rather have him aim for that soft area just in front of it, THAT sends me over the edge.

So I guess all in all, the answer is...it depends ;)

I agree with you that some women NEVER notice at all. My woman is such, but she seems to like it. But I have to admit I only could reach her cervix after I began my PE journey.
