That right there is your biggest weakness, thinking you "know her too well" as in "I know her too well and I can tell you for a fact that she wouldn't x, y & z...". I can tell you from my own experience; I went through it enough times to learn from it. When it comes to all the ins & outs of breaking up, truth is that you NEVER really know anyone "too well". No one breaks up simply because they just "wanna be alone". A good, solid, happy relationship is NOT something we just turn away from like that, simply because we "wanna be alone for a while". People get out of relationships because they are not happy with that relationship. Human beings are social animals, and by that it is clearly understood that we thrive best while in good company. Any human that has the choice of being in a positive, nurturing, loving relationship, will ALWAYS choose that over being alone. We only see it best being alone when the company we've been keeping is not conducive to our most innate, best interests, such as feeling truly respected, cared for and loved.

Another thing you gotta understand when it comes to women and breaking up, is that they don't just pull the plug out of haste. When a woman hands you your walking papers, you better believe it when I tell you that she's been putting it all together for quite a while. When she finally hands you that pink slip, it's nothing more than a formal serving of what's been slowly cooking up inside her heart for quite some time.

I can tell you that W.M.P. is spot on with his advice here. Especially the bit about when she breaks it off with you, she's been mulling it over and sitting on it for weeks, possibly months BEFORE she finally gives you your pink slip. Case and point, my ex gf. We were together 15 months.........the sex was nonstop and nothing short of sensational. In the beginning, she would cook for me and do little things for me and then as time went by and I was there all the time (despite the fact that I actually helped what I could with money for groceries and cleaned the house for her), she began to feel "obligated" to cooking for me and taking care of me and flexing to my schedule as I did with hers. She DID NOT like that at all. After 25 long years of her being emotionally abused by her asshole ex husband and catering to his demanding fancies as well as that of her two sons, by the time she got divorced, she had had enough and vowed that she would never again allow herself to be put in that situation every again. Fast forward to me entering the picture, I reminded her too much of what she came from (except for the fact that I treated her with nothing but the utmost respect, love and affection). So, 2 weeks before Christmas, we had a fight, she got pissed at me and accused me of not being her friend. That pretty much was the straw that broke the camel's back and things just weren't the same after that.

My point to that was that I KNOW for a fact she had been contemplating that move for sometime prior to things actually falling apart. She just didn't want to be obligated to me, my kids or my schedule. All that she was concerned about was her schedule.........period. Now, she's alone with nobody to talk to but her 21 year old utterly dependent son............hahahahahahhaha.

Also her best friend just split up with her boyfriend so she has been clinging to her like never before I know this has had a major impact on us as we just couldn't get rid of her friend on the weekends.

Dude that is something not working in your favor. Think about her cunt best friend, the devil in her ear...Her friend is undoubtedly egging her on to split up with you out of jealousy, and likely under the guise of claiming her and your gf could have "so much fun together as single ladies" or some horrible bullshit like that. Girls are so horrible and manipulative in situations such as these, even to their own friends, as your gfs best friend is probably being to her.

Yeah i can imagine she is all nice to my face but who the F knows whats being said when im not there i wish i was a fly on the wall just to have a listen. When she gets a new boyfriend and my girl is lonely as usual im going to love to see what happens. As her BF does change BF's like a pair of knickers.

If you two are already splitsville, what could it hurt to talk to her? My ex emailed me a couple of weeks back after she told me during our breakup that it would be best if we never spoke again and then she's emailing me 3 months later???? I talked to her, I didn't care. I don't want her back as I've got a new gf. It's her loss. Maybe this chick is realizing how badly she's screwed up and is trying to get you back? Whatever the reason, talking to her doesn't hurt anyone. JMO.

In your mind, really.

You probably don't want to come across as being completly ignorant towards her call. However, if such a thing comes up when she asks you if you are ignorant, simply say that you were busy, and very pre-occupied with things. This should make you sound like an independant fellow, without being a douche.

Sorry, but saying "I've been busy" doesn't cut it, girls aren't that dumb. If you want to talk with her again, just admit that you were feeling bad andnot sure you wanted to talk, so didn't answer, but have now decided that you need to talk. Lying and pretending that you were busy definitely makes you come across as a douche.

I'd be willing to bet that she already has someone else if she's going on a break. I would agree with everyone else and move on, as difficult as it is. I just got out of my first LTR several months ago, so I know what you're going through, and it sucks. Women with men are like monkeys swinging on vines - they don't leave one until they've got their hands on another. Don't ignore her, but I would keep your conversations to a minimum. Just focus on moving on, as tough as it is.

I'm not just saying this, it's not easy for me either. My heart is still with my ex, and I have no intentions of finding someone else, or going back to her. I'm willing to bet you probably won't follow our advice and move on, so just try to prepare yourself for the worst. I know I sure as hell ignored everyone else. I didn't want to accept it. She's the only person I wanted to be with, and you sound like you're in a similar situation. Either way, good luck with it.

right on the day i didnt answer her calls i recieved this text message

If this is becasue of what i said yesterday i said nothing but the truth and to say u love me but now u can ignore me when ive done nothing wrong just about sums up what i mean to u well i hope this makes u happy sadly enough i was still thinking about what i want but i think youve already shown me in your actions what ive been thinking anyway how sad is it that i loved someone that still makes me feel like im sposed to chase them when ive done nothing wrong i have no words..

Shortly after i spoke to her and said i was busy trying to set my house up for decorating which i was. Then she totally changed her tune said to ignore the text message we had a laugh and joke on the phone then was as happy as ive heard her in days :)

Guys and girls i managed to get myself a copy of pull your ex back and im at the peroid where aint speaking to her for 25 days and i followed the steps and it unfolded perfect so far ive made out im too busy to speak to her and ive already moved on and i dont need your approval for anything im my own person as soon as i sent that text she called and text me straight away like the book said she would. But i did eventually answer and say i got something to tell u but and i kept hesitating keeping her guessing then i said im busy i got to go and then i hung up this hurt like hell but o well.

Shortly after i recieved a text saying if you dont call me back within my lunch break dont ever bother calling or texting me again im tired of playing games. So now im at peroid where im going to leave it up too 25 days without abit of contact with her in anyway becasue during that peroid she is going to be thinking about me more than ever its a funny thing psychology, she will probably think ive moved on, and whats he up to and the obvious how much i miss him.

Have any of you guys or girls heard about this book and these tactics?

Those books are a waste. They made my situation worse than it was before. At least we were still friends before I tried one of those books tactics. Now we don't even talk because of it.

I can't stand the "I'm not going to respond to her calls or texts to teach her a lesson" stuff. It just plain rude and mean unless you're really, truly done with the relationship and are moving on with your life.

Take a look at this other thread:https://www.pegym.com/forums/womans-perspective/12539-what-up-women-these-days.html
Then tell me you are not contributing to this problem with all this gamesmanship some of you guys use on girls.

Unfortunately BW, girls have long been natural gameplayers ,so I just feel sorry for the odd person left in this world ,who is not a player ,male or female.
