Quick facts about me. This is a very long post and hoping someone can help me here. I read some other people have venous leak as well.

1. Penis injury while jelqing my penis erect 5 years ago. Went to many urologists and they told me i had no problems.
2. Urologist i saw last year did tests on me. Did nocturnal erection test for 3 days and tell me i do have erection at night but it was not full erection. He mentioned something physical was wrong but did not know what it is
3. Symptoms since the injury include, penis turtles a lot, can only get an erection sitting down and squeezing leg towards my penis and testicles. The moment i unsqueeze it or i stand up, i lose complete erection. Someone mentioned weak parasympathetic nerve.
4. Ejaculation is very weak.
5. Took 7 months for me to be able to get an erection after the injury back in February 2005. The next time i got an erection was around November or December of 2005 and only way to do that was to squeeze my legs toward my penis and testicles to put pressure on it.
6. I did ultrasound of testicles and penis. Ultrasound of testicles showed varicocele grade 3 but i had surgery for it. Not sure if it came back since i had surgery about 3 months ago. Ultrasound of penis according to my urologist while it was hard confirmed that my erection was good. I did however had venous leak.
7. Never morning wood

Before the injury, i had morning wood everyday almost. I could get erection whether standing up or sitting down. The moment i injured my penis that day, definitely caused all my problems. I been looking for a solution and could not find any help until i read about this venous leak embolization with coils and venous litigation.

Does anyone know much about this procedure? I read online that the embolization procedure is actually a safe procedure as oppose to venous litigation surgery. I know the success rate is not that good but the doctor i am talking to who is not in the United States has a lot of patients that said their erections have improved after surgery.

I found out someone on a forum with venous leak and he said he had embolization for it done in Australia. I live in New York City. He has not replied back to me so I cannot ask him more question about it.

He said ..

I'm pretty sure mine was from a masturbation accident when I was a kid.

Similar symptoms for me included never getting morning wood, and also the erection going down when I stopped squeezing my penis. I usually just used a few fingers to block off the vein, but, like you, what also kind of worked was squeezing my legs together so it trapped the blood in the penis, hence keeping the erection.

I'm not sure what to tell you. It definitely sounds like a venous leak, as your doctor seems to have confirmed. It's not something he should have ignored. I would advise trying to pinpoint which vein is leaking yourself (I was lucky, my leaking vein stuck out from the skin and was thick and chord like). Otherwise, your best bet would be to find a doctor, or interventional radiologist who is willing to help find exactly which vein is leaking, and either tie it off, block it with coils or both. Do a google search on venous leak embolization, there's a few methods out there. I'm pretty sure my doctor both implanted coils, and tied the vein off at the base of my penis. It has been nearly 3 years now since my procedure and everything still works fine.

Does anyone know where to find these type of surgeons? The only one I know is in Australia and that is the one this guy told me he went to. I live in New York City and I do not know where to find these surgeons. Does anyone know if venous leak embolization surgery is legal in the United States?

I am also talking to another doctor who does venous litigation surgery and I told him the symptoms and he said i had venocclusive dysfunction and said he would see and do the surgery for me but it is a very invasive surgery and cost a lot of money.

The guy who told me he had embolization done told me something was wrong with his superficial dorsal vein. However, for the venous litigation surgery, i heard it was related to deep dorsal vein. Does anyone know about this?

Any questions i am willing to answer all of them. Yes i had my penis injured while jelqing 5 years ago and never got help. All the urologists here in New York said everything looked fine according to them.

Hi there

I read that the ligation procedure doesnt have much success rate
There's risk of occurance in maybe 3-5 years after the procedure
Generally procedures for venous leakage doesnt have good outcome.
But the best success rate is for penis implant from what i read.
You can have erection whenever you want.

Try to get more info before deciding on what procedure to go for

possible solution

possible solution

form what i understand, venous leak is due to too much blood in the cavernosa, so the erection fades away, because the valves are not strong enough to maintain the erection with that much blood.
So the solution would be to find how penis size can be reduced,so there will be not to much pressure on the valves...

From what i know, pe gains are not that permanent, gains go away with the time.Like the venous leak is caused by pe, the solution would be to wait until you loose the gains.I think that your erection should return that way.

Everybody seems to have a limit when doing pe, and when you overpass that limit, you get a venous leak...
it is sad that nobody knows how to make theses valves stronger and when they would not be enough...

Interesting this is the first I have heard about the cause of Venous Leakage. How did you come to this conclusion? This theory doesn't make sense to me because surely the more blood flow you have in the penis the better and harder the erection. Hence the more kegels you do the stiffer your dick gets. To me if you get an erection but it's not that strong, doesn't get fully erect, or it doesn't last very long that implies there is poor blood flow or there is a problem holding the blood in. So how can too much blood flow cause a "leak" in the penis and result in loosing the erection? That doesn't make sense to me.
