usually when i do PE i watch porn to keep me up to 80% of max on the jelqing part. is this cheating? are we supposed to think images in our head instead?

In my opinion, i think that when you stimulate yourself from inside the tendency is to gradually gain control of your erections.
Furthermore, by thinking you not only stimulate your eyes and ears, but all your senses (you can imagine smells, tastes, kisses etc) and that can give me a supreme erection.
Third, i have read that your subconscious mind does not distinguishes real experience from a well mind-made experience, which means that you kind of enhance your sex skills and confidence by rehearsing them mentally. (I have practiced a lot of cunnilingus this way, and now thats almost a second nature in real experience).
Besides, you do not have to completely banish porn in your live, but it would be great if you could gradually shift towards ''soft'' stuff. One year ago, i could only be excited by hardcore, almost violent porn, and i've started to develop strange fetishes like gang rape and whipping (not really healthy stuff). Today I can't see a suplex without my spine sending a tingling sensation to all my body. Feels great.

I will agree with Buddha here. I was good at oral by the first time I did it... just from head-practice. But try and keep the porn to a minimum. It's not cheating, but using your head is more rewarding, by far.
Buddha has set out an explanation of this problem far more cleverly than I can. All I can add is that I take a great deal of care to maintain the correct erection levels for jelqing. I agree that 100% concentration on an erotic subject is the best way - e.g. I no longer have the radio on during jelqing. However, I do have a soft porn mag open at an appropriate page by my side just in case I start slipping from the required levels of erection. Hopefully this will become redundant quite shortly.
I'm the opposite to you Albert, I have to have my MP3 player blasting away complicated music to distract me otherwise I get too hard too quickly.

Let me tell you how I've used porn in my favor. We all have this ideal model right? Mine was a very white, blonde, rather skinny, well shaved and with average boobs and butts. I've always searched for this ideal model in my porn sessions, that excited my brain.

Porn is NOT cheating. All you're doing is watching something on a screen and not having any kind of contact whatsoever with another woman.
