Sure you've seen good gains, I bet they're not as good as they would have been had you not been smoking though.

There's always risks such as impotence coupled with smoking too, although that's clearly illustrated on cigarette packets, along with some of the other consuquences.

I know that mate, and I've gone to one cig a day...soon ill go to one every 2 days and thats how ill lose my dependence on nicotine.
When smokers quit smoking, they tend to gain weight as it slows down metabolism, so i want to avoid that!
Cheers.

Unfortunately, I smoke a pack in 1-2 days. It's been like this for about 1 month now. I spent over 150$ on cigarettes! Pathetic!

I need to stop smoking and go back to what I used to do: only smoke cigs when I'm at a party/club/bar with alcohol. That is very casul cigarette smoking

As for ganja. I hate the feeling I get from it. Pot used to be my lifestyle in high school but not anymore!!!

Smoking cigs will slow down your gains. That is the conclusion :(

hey radiohead. I know what you mean. I think you should start by having half a pack in 2 days, then 2 cigs every day, then 1 every day, then 1 every 2 days. It worked/is working for me.

I took Chantix for 4 weeks ,smoked one or two cigs a day at the end of 4 weeks. Then went back to smoking.

Decided to try again and after 4 weeks I just stopped smoking. Its been 13 days now and I'm going to do it this time.

Just slowly cut back. I was at about a pack a day. So I said I was only going to smoke at work, driving to and from work, at home, and when I'm out partying. Now I'm at the point where I smoke at work (use to be 4-8 depending on day/mood, now is 2-6), at home (1 at most), and when I'm out drinking. Next I'm cutting out smoking at home, then cutting back more at work. Eventually getting to only when I'm drinking.... Cold Turkey is too tough. I could, but I just don't want to yet. I'm not even 25, so I figure it's okay for now, but I want to be done completely in 2 years at the very most. Of course having no money for it helps to.
