We all like improving things here, and in such we're committed to making this place better in every way possible.

The other day, we did a minor upgrade to the forum (we're still working out the kinks here, but for the most part it went smoothly). For those of you don't know, you can now:

  • Create/join groups (each of these groups have a mini sub forum of their own, so a "Supplement" group is a good example that someone may start - Kingpole? ;) )
  • Upload photo albums (great for before and after pictures)
  • Enjoy other nifty changes (enhanced profile/friend features, better PMs, and more)

Sometime soon, we'll be doing a major upgrade on the entire site. How long until this happens? It's hard to say - it could be two weeks or two months depending on how many more snags show up, but we are close.

What's this upgrade entail? Three major changes.

1. CONTENT, CONTENT, CONTENT

More articles, updated continually. Thanks to the editor team (special thanks to vegetarian, Big Al and PhibbysHammer) - we have dozens of new articles lined up. All of these articles will have a professional touch, similar to the "major" websites like MensHealth.com. We also plan to come out with several articles a week, with some cool new recurring features such as "Transformational Success Stories."

Featured bloggers. This is a personal favorite of mine, as it builds more transparency on the topic of PE - something that is highly needed and the main goal of this site.

We currently have 4-6 experts (doctors, authors, etc.), who will write about PE and male sexual health topics on their designated "PE Gym" blog. This feature depends solely on popularity - if the experts find that you guys are commenting on their blog a lot, then they'll probably continue to post (and this will enable us to get even more experts)

More exercises / step-by-step videos and instructions. We're aiming to have every exercise cataloged with a step-by-step video and exercise. We're also making it easier to find the exercise you want based on your goal/experience.

2. MORE COMMUNITY & USER FEATURES

User reviews. Another favorite of mine. A major question that gets asked here is: Do products help with PE? The answer in some cases is yes. But not all products are created equally, and this leads to a major problem in the PE industry: fake reviews and no transparency on which ones are worth buying.

In such, we've gone to great lengths to catalog all the penis enlargement products you guys have discussed on the forum, this way you can write honest reviews about your experience - so the next guy has a more informed decision. The benefit of this will depend solely on everyone here. The more reviews, the better.

User blogs. Want to track your progress, write about topics that interest you, or just have a "You" page on the PE Gym? Now you have your very own blog to do so. This will come as a standard blog, and will get improved as time goes on.

Post of the month.
This is completely voted on by you guys. We've set up the reputation system in a way that it creates a "post of the month" that will be featured on the forum page.

Multiple other user features. You'll now be able to comment on all articles; save your favorite articles, exercises and forums posts; and more.

3. NEW DESIGN

The design we've had for the past two years isn't bad, but it has several limitations and is need of an overhaul. This isn't the first time we've done this. For fun, check out the past versions at the Way Back Machine (Make sure to use ExercisingThePenis.com, as we've made a domain change over the past 4 years too!)

We plan on keeping the new design for SEVERAL more years, as this one was much more labor intensive.

We've been working on the new version of site for almost a year now, and we can't even begin to describe how many hands and hours played a roll in making it happen.

FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS
The best news: We'll now have the backbone complete for all future updates we'll be making over the next year. We'll be making constant improvements, and our goal is to always make the forum better. Some of those improvements include:

-A profile-based survey that every user can answer regarding his gains, routine, and other variables. This will be as detailed as you make it, but what we have planned is to make it so we all have access to the data and then can find the "little variables that make a BIG difference."

-Forum improvements - our goal is to make the forum simpler without taking all of the neat features we have. We'll be getting your feedback on this one.

-Others ways to get more information out there, enable you guys to motivate each other more, and help us get more transparency on the topic of PE in a professional manner.

Thanks Remek, the new changes sound kickass. Can't wait to see all the new updates, but most importantly thank you so much for all that you've done. And thanks to everyone who has helped out here on the site. PEgym can't stop growing, much like our dicks!

This is truly a fantastic, informative and just plain awesome site for us men (and women). I have only ONE small gripe and that is for me to get the new posts that I haven't read yet, I have to go through the "forum" section, move over all the way to the far left and find the "new posts" category and then I can read them. Is this the way it's supposed to be?

MBD: Did you get use to the new set up yet? :)

We tried to put the links in separate areas - The top menu for different sections of the community (forum, groups, profile, photos), the right two menus divided into "My Menu" and "Forum Menu." It'll make more sense once we launch the new design.

I'll tell you what - we'll be doing a poll here shortly that asks what features/buttons does everyone use here. It's clear that not all features are used by every member, or even most members.

For example, the "Mark Forums Read" link was in several places - at the top, at the bottom and on the side. It appears not a lot of users use the bottom link, so we might ax that. Before we do that, though, we're going to do a poll here which will help us determine the "must have" features and the unnecessary ones. I personally use the new post one, and if we find that its the most have button, we'll can add it back to the top.

MBD: Another possible idea: what do you think about adding the side menus on every forum page? What do the rest of you guys think too?

I like the forum pages just the way they are. If you add the menus it'll make the page too wide.
Maybe add them to "New Posts?"

Just a question, is there any way to quote multiple people from different posts in the same thread?

I'm sure that there's an easier method than the one that I use but I open up two tabs, one which shows the reply I'm writing and the other with which I gather the quotes.

I'll just click "quote" on each person I want to use, highlight the quote (in the
fields of course), press Ctrl + C to copy it over and then paste it into my reply.

Then close the extra tab.

J: We should be able to launch this feature with the upcoming launch.

It'd be nice to be able to navigate from one central point.

I agree. It would make most sense to have all the links on the menu at the top, but that bar can only hold roughly 10 links before is starts get crowded.

Another option: Place the "My Gym Menu" at the top as a drop down, get rid of some of the unnecessary links in the side forum menu and put everything at the top. The main reason we didn't do this before is drop down menus tend to annoy people more than anything, but I'm open to ideas. What do you guys think?

This would be very helpful. With my limited computer skills, I struggle to get any multi-tasking done. I do everything the hard way now, so ANY easier way would be appreciated.
