Premature ejaculation, kegel, and erections. Help request.

Hey guys. I am 21 years old, little below average weight, and I am suffering from severe premature ejaculation. Cannot last more than 15 seconds. To give a background, I have been watching porn and masturbating since I was 13. Before reading the posts here(2 weeks ago), I used to masturbate every alternate day, once a day.

I started kegel and reverse kegel exercises two weeks ago to help improve my condition. I read about plateau edging yesterday and decided to practice. I tried plateau edging yesterday and today without porn(just imagination). While I was able to stay hard easily for 15 minutes I noticed something shocking. I noticed that I am unable to retain my erection without doing kegel or holding my muscle. I think I was doing this since a long time without realizing it. Also, when I am erect and do a reverse kegel I lose my erection immediately. This is worrying me a lot. I have also started to wonder if I suffer from venous leak. I am not really sure how hard is full hard but I am able to retain my erection as long as I hold my muscle. I am average length but 4.3 inches on girth. I also get morning woods and random erections. I would be grateful to receive any advice from you guys. Also, I am an international student in the US and I am afraid that it won't be too easy for me to go to a doctor or specialist due to high exchange rates of my currency and sky rocketing medical expenses. I hope most of you can understand how useful any piece of advice would be.

Sounds like you suffer from too much porn ,this is a common issue. So quit porn is my first advice ,it could take a recovery period but this should help your eq.

Thank you for the reply. So far I am successfully able to stay away from porn. But it's very hard for me to pull a no-fap. The maximum I was able to abstain was 2 weeks, when I almost went crazy I gave myself an excuse of plateau edging. While I did edge for 10-15 minutes but I finally couldn't wait to orgasm and gave up. Did that yesterday and today. I feel horrible for making that mistake now. Is imagining/using my girl's picture as bad as porn???

I am in a long distance relationship and we meet only once a month or two. I am also going to start some work out and I am working on my diet to gain some weight. What scares the crap out of me is possibility of a venous leak. It's scary that I lose my erection while doing reverse kegels. I really hope that I am able to improve my EQ and win over my premature ejaculation. The posts here are very helpful. I will update how my battle goes. I hope it will contribute to the community. Also, if anyone else has also faced the problem of losing erection while doing reverse kegel please update here.

Yes, especially in the way it is implemented by using edging as a "gray zone".

The best you can do for your body is to reduce or stop porn focus more on the exercises for improving your overall strength and fitness and with it your stamina which actually has a solid impact on the lasting time.

As for masturbation/edging I think masturbating/edging every second day is not that problematic, though it might be a better idea to move it to every third day and see how it will impact you.

Just to clarify for me edging is: "Masturbation with a specific goal in mind which can also include ejaculation"

I also suggest to ejaculate almost every time you edge, especially if the session was successful (meaning lasted over 20 minutes).

If you want to see other cases and see if you have some points that you share with them follow this link and read both the first post and my reply then follow the next link in my reply etc, it might take a while but it might help you gain a better understanding.

Also here is a description on what you should be (in my opinion) your goal with edging.

Thank you minuteman. This is a very informative post. I guess the main problem for me now is that I am not able to associate edging with pleasure. I can edge for 15 minutes but I in my mind I am certainly not able to associate it with pleasure.

Another thing I have to work on is arousal conditioning. It's very easy for me to get aroused, especially when with my gf. I either get aroused extremely quickly and last no more than 30 seconds or I end up thinking about it too much and lose my erection while putting on rubber. There is a lot I have to work on. My goal is to improve at least some part of my problem within a month. Since I will be seeing her in a month again.

I read your 3-day post. It's very helpful. I am going to follow your three day plan but I am a little confused. In day three part of beginner section you say:

"I am sure many people who read this and have premature ejaculation know very well how soul-crushing and an empty orgasm-less ejaculation can feel."

I am suffering from severe preE but as far as I remember I have never had an orgasm-less ejaculation. I guess the problem with me is that I orgasm too quickly which then leads to ejaculation. It doesn't matter if I am with a partner or alone, I can usually get to the same fulfilling magnitude of orgasms. I am not sure how different this is from most of the guys here.

Another question. Have any of you suffered from blue balls? I have had this problem before many times, a few times when I was interrupted by something while watching porn, and a few times due to my girlfriend teasing me. So while following the 3-day routine how do you deal with blue balls? It usually is painful.

That is a good thing, that just means your premature ejaculation problem has not reached that point (and I hope it never will).

A note about the 3day routine. If you feel any pain in your testicles or are feeling uncomfortable ejaculate in order to relieve the pressure. Also do not do 3day routine back to back but let a few days pass between, it is a good idea to do one 3day routine per week or even less, avoid doing it frequently since it is taxing on the pelvic floor. Also view 3day routine more as a benchmark and observation tool, in conclusion do not do it frequently.

Good question.

Yes, especially after a longer time of abstinence (more than a week for example). If it happens during 3day routine ejaculate and leave 3day routine for some other day. If the problem persists then doing 3day routine is not a good idea at all.

The problem is a combination of pressure and tension, and allot of sitting. As your pelvic floor gets more conditioned (squats, jogging, stretching, edging) this should happen less under the assumption that you ejaculate frequently enough before attempting 3day routine. This is how it is for me, but people are different so never force trough the pain in order to keep up with the routine just ejaculate.

Thank you for the info minuteman. Well, I failed at 3day routine. twice. *sigh*. I just cannot go back to normal once I reach close to PONR. Cannot stop the involuntary kegels once there. Will try again later after a few days.
