Why is a reverse kegel important?

I read somewhere that you need to keep a balans betweens the kegels, but can't you just kegel and have a better EQ and stuff? So without the reverse kegel.

An inch and 1/2 deeper than before
RKs work and strengthen the other side of the PC muscle.

Only strengthening one side with regular kegels can have a negative effect, and cause a tense pelvic floor.

So, to even out the effect, and strengthen the whole PC group for the best effect, both sides need to be worked. Front, and back. :)

Wat will happen if you have a tense pelvic floor?

Reverse kegels can be a pain in the beginning. It is most likely alot weaker than the regular and is sometimes hard to isolate.
The upside of it is, that when trying to find/isolate you get a minor ab workout aswell =)

Reverse kegels help you relax the muscle while say having sex or masturbating.
If there is an unbalance you will notice in time that the PC muscle is tensing up almost constant during said activities. And may cause premature ejaculation or make it harder for you to control.

An example would be if you are having sex and want to delay the PONR you can tighten the PC muscle. But if it is already tightened up it wont have any effect.

Satires there were great bits of information already given. I just wanted to add that if you take any muscle and keep it contracted it will tire and ultimately weaken. So getting the muscles in the pelvice floor strong, and ALSO relaxed helps your health throughout the area. It also allows you to control your orgasm response. Even reach multiple male orgasms. If you like one imagine having several whenever you have sex. Enjoy
