so ive been interested in being bigger for a long time. ive tried pills, they dont work, i have a quick extender pro that ive had for about a year and a half, i use it, but its never consistent due to it not being that comfortable to wear, and my schedule. i am serious about getting bigger, that look in my wifes eyes when i have told her about getting a big fat one, well, im sure im not the only one that sees it. but i like most, like to see results. and when i dont, the determination dwindles. anyway, getting to the point. im into my second month of a pro hormone workout cycle. test booster, etc. the workouts ive been doing focus on muscle failure. fewer reps with more weight to muscle failure for bigger tears/ie bigger gains. so i thought about this concept with enlargement. since its a muscle, how can u exercise it to exhaustion, where it will fail? has anyone applied this concept? that combined with the hormones im on, could yield massive gains. my google searches yield nothing. im just wondering if anyone has tried. as far has hanging methods, etc go, im not sure. but lets see what everyone has to say.

No, smooth muscles and the tendon-like tissue of the tunica do not behave like skeletal muscles in that manner.

The penis is very different from skeletal muscles and responds differently. Hanging is similar, but you want to get to fatigue and ride that without causing huge tears. Be more gentle than your other workouts. Check out the hanging threads, and you will find great advice. Remember start slow and condition your penis to the workouts. Enjoy your journey.

Namso, I've been reading about hanging. You're supposed to feel fatigued from hanging right? I don't know what that feels like, but imagine it's a form of exhaustion. I figured I'd ask, since it seems on topic for this thread. I know it doesn't work like skeletal muscle, but is hanging a form of exercising till failure? Or am I misunderstanding the term fatigue?

Fatigue is the term used to describe the feeling in your tunica and ligaments as you stretch it close to failure. Muscle failure is usually used to describe the level of exhaustion when you can no longer lift the weight (complete failure means you cannot lift even minimal weight). Ligament/tunica failure is when that tissue is compromised, or in other words snaps, breaks or ruptures. You do not want to experience failure while hanging.

Imagine throwing a baseball or overhand serving on the tennis court all day. You will experience skeletal muscle, tendon, and ligament fatigue. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish one from the other. However, one result of this type of repetitive movement is the lengthening of the tendons that hold your shoulder together. Pitchers and tennis players routinely have to ice their shoulders to speed its recovery. Despite these actions many will have to get shoulder surgery to shorten (snip and reattach) these tendons to prevent dislocation.

Another example are the knees, you may have performed a strenuous exercise that placed a lot of strain on your knees and they were "sore" or they ached. The knee is easier to distinguish the source of the ache because there are fewer muscles there to cover or obscure the ligament ache. And each time you try to move the knee the soreness reminds you of the strain that was on your knees.

Fatigue from hanging comes from stretching the tunica and the ligaments so they begin to ache, not hurt, not pain. Every time your penis is stretched (to pee, or to shake, or your next hanging set) the ache reminds you of the strain that you put on this tissue. Recently my night-time erections are enough for me to feel the ache.

However, this is only 1/2 of what it takes to gain size. Hanging allows you to stretch the "smooth muscle container" but you will also need more smooth muscle to fill that "container." 70-80% EQ Jelqing is an excellent way to gain new cells to fill that container.

You'll notice that I don't refer to "girth exercises" as the optimal way to grow smooth muscle. That is because I believe that most girth exercises are best used to stretch the longitudinal tunica, not grow smooth muscle. Longer, less strenuous exercises are better for soft muscle growth.

Thank you Namso! That's a really good explanation. The last two paragraphs are especially relevant to some questions I've been researching lately. In your opinion, does low pressure pumping over a longer duration qualify as "Longer, less strenuous exercise"?

This is the kind of info that helps someone grow from knowing to understanding. :)

ok, so hanging is the way to go, ill slow my anabolic cycle, maybe even add another month to it, see if i can get better gains in both muscle, and penis. sounds like a plan.

Your anabolic cycle will have zero effect on penis gains.
