Hi guys,

Im going to order first pump but im concerned what size should I choose. Is size of pump really that important? Could someone explain me why? Also, any example of what would happen if pump is slightly to large.
Im 1.5 and planned to buy size 2 cylinder.

ALl the best !

From the https://www.pegym.com/forums/penis-devices-forum/18191-some-pumping-basics.html thread:

When sizing the cylinder, you must make sure you get a good fit. Get a cylinder that’s too small and you limit expansion and may cause injury to the glans (more on that later); get a cylinder too big and you run the risk of “ball suckage” (having your testicles sucked into the tube- very painful) and/or the cylinder not getting the proper seal in order to create the proper amount of vacuum pressure. To measure for the correct size, simply take a tape measure and wrap it around the base of your penis. Try to get as close to the base as possible; if you have a turkey-neck, take this into account when you measure since this part of the scrotum will get sucked into the cylinder. If you do not have a tape measure, take a piece of string, wrap it around the base and make a mark on the two pieces where they intersect. Lay this straight against a ruler and measure.

Yes, it is important to select an appropriate cylinder size for your penis, also please refer to the following thread for more information.

There's a great thread on pumping basics in here by namsokiek. Basically you don't want to go any bigger than 1/2" past your current girth and if you are somewhere in the range 7 - 7.5 bpel a 9" length should be more than sufficient

Congratulations. Hopefully you got one with a vacuum gauge. Take it easy in the beginning and keep the vacuum under 5 hg and max Time not more than 10 minutes for the first several weeks. Then do not exceed 20 minutes.

I think this is an excellent chart and right in line with my experience

Does the chart account for expansion or do u have to size up?

An inch and 1/2 deeper than before
I'm pretty sure that chart accounts for expansion, though the upper level may get close. For example, the first size (1.5) would be a 4.7 inch circumference cylinder.

That chart is very good. It accounts for meg and expansion.

When I started pumping almost five years ago, my MSEG was 4.4" and I used a 1.5" cylinder for over a year until I started to pack it 3/4 of the way up. My current MSEG is 5.35" and just started to pack a 1.75" cylinder most of the way up after two years. I purchased a 2" cylinder about six months ago which I started to pack about 1.5" up from the base. (I used a 1.5" elongated cylinder between the 1.5" and 1.75" round cylinders.)
