Whether you measured incorrectly or not just be sure to measure the exact same way in future. Not just the way you hold the ruler/tape but your position and posture too as even a little thing like being hunched v straight back can slightly change the result.

Essentially that's what I do, but with small gains it's hard to tell if you pushed the ruler a little harder than last time. I'm refraining from posting any official stats until I complete the 90 day (I'm currently about a month in), but last measurement was 7.1 over my old 6.8, but I'll need to measure a few more times to verify it wasn't a fluke.
As for girth, I'm up about 0.1 overall and 0.2-0.3 at the base. For girth I do need to go back and edit my old data as I found out my cloth tape must have actually stretched a little over time, as it was cheating me out of about 0.1" all along, meaning my starting point was really 5.1, now 5.2, and BEG is around 5.3 to 5.4 depending on the day.
Overall, decided to finally give this a shot after lurking since it would be dumb to not try if gaining is this 'easy' (just very time consuming), and I'm currently single with my own place (so total privacy). Like easygeezer as well, I'm likely in this for the long haul and if I ever do gain that actual inch I'm likely hooked for life, or until girls yell at me to stop. LOL
