Some websites say that you can grow taller (after 18) with exercises and diet, basically stretching, (similar to PE). Is it possible or just another scam ?
Thanks :D

If a person already has a great posture with a beautifully aligned spine then i doubt exercises can make a person grow taller. On the otherhand if a person has a terrible posture then i'm sure doing posture exercises can correct the slouchy posture to help the person reach their maximum height.

Of course i wouldn't pay for them (i'm a cheapskate ) instead i would get the posture exercises free off the internet. :)

Wanna get taller??? Get an inversion table. It will help the back "decompress". I've got one and it does just that. Gravity takes it's toll on our spines. When I lose weight it also feels like my body doesn't have so much on it forcing me to the ground.

Hey Camaro,,,,,,just remember something: "Schlittle things mean a lot!" LOL

I agree about the inversion table.

I can remember a few years back watching a documentary on a woman who was attempting to be the tallest woman in the world. And from memory the "guiness book of world record tester" did 3 measurements, one on awakening, then noon, lastly at night, then the average height out of those 3 height measurements was how they recorded height. So obviously on awakening with an uncompressed spine the person will be tallest but as the day wears on the spine will compress and a person will obviously become shorter.

Gone fishing.
It's possible to keep growing naturally into your 20's with the right genetics. I'm very nearly 21 and I've just stopped (fingers crossed!).

I grew a small bit (~2cm) going from 18 to 19.

Have a cousin who sprang up and gained a few inches when he was around 20.

Everyone finishes growing at a different time, for example some people can grow great full beards before they're 18. Everyone's genetics, growth hormones etc are different.

Stretching alone won't make you much, if at all taller, if you've finished growing. It can help sort your posture out so you stand a little straighter and are at your true potential height.

If you are still growing, which you have very little chance of knowing, just eat healthy and exercise...just be healthy in general, that will give you the best potential to grow.

I doubt any pills for height growth work unless they can change the structure of your bones the whole way through your body.

If they could, they sound like something you'd hear about in a zombie movie that causes they death of all but a select few of mankind.

That is unless you're talking about some hormones or something that are probably illegal. I know nothing about them to be fair.

I personally just prefer to wear shoes with a small heel, and stand up straight, and boom look at that, I'm happy at my height!

Jakebfs nailed it. Different people finish growing at different times. But 18 years old is the lower end of the spectrum for completion of male growth. Females are typically finished at around 18 years old, but males commonly grow for a few more years. And once you're body is finished growing, It's finished. There's no magical pill that's going to help that. Spinal decompression could technically make you taller through enhanced posture, but that's something entirely different on a physiological level.

Well there is that surgery in a few Asian countries where they cut your shin bones, move them a hair apart and let them heal. Then repeat over and over, while you're bedridden with your legs contained in metal support structures for over a year.

But I mention it for informational purposes only, I wouldn't recommend that to my worst enemy. It probably wouldn't even be permitted as a method of torture.

Damn internet. I never cared about my height, seriously, at 5ft 5 in. I chased girls, played football, lifted weights, played basketball, wrestled, and would size up tall guys thinking I could kick their ass. Those lanky ones would go over right quick on the field. Seriously, I never cared. I'd throw in short jokes because it amused the company I kept. I really didn't care, or think about it.

Then yesterday while looking up weight lifting stuff on youtube a guy mentioned agrowbics, some London gym where you grow taller. I was like WTF, I'm over 50, that cant' work. Next video.

As I was laying in bed last night, a thought occurred to me. I never cared about my dick size before the internet either. Not just because of porn, but because of all those damn spam emails with the subject, WANT TO GROW YOUR DICK? I knew they were a scam. Then I found pegym and Th***ers P**ce. It took years of trying to find what worked for me, but when I did, it got big. I am a believer in PE now.

I have done something that most men on the planet believe is impossible. Thank you pegym.

Through edging and practice I've mastered the dry orgasm, something else I thought was impossible.

I've gone without food and water for days, something I didn't think I could do. I look and feel a whole lot better.

So now I wondered, could I reach 5 ft 8? I jumped out of bed, got the tape measure, marked on the wall, measured it. 5ft 4.5in. I repeated the measurement two more times. Same. WTF I've lost a half inch. Stupid aging sh*t.

So as I went back to bed and started my downward fowfers (a nightly habit now), I thought, hey, a fowfer is just using friction to create tension and lengthen the ligament. Could I do that for height?

So, lying flat on my back I lifted my heels up off the bed, stretched as far down as they would go and then planted them on the bed. Then I raised my butt up off the bed, stretched it up away from my heels and planted it on the bed. Friction held the heels and butt in place. I could feel the pull on my legs between the heels and butt. Then I raised my back off the bed, stretched it up as far as I could with my butt still planted, and then planted my back on the bed. I could feel the pull on my lower back. Then I lifted my head, stretched it as far as it go and planted it on the pillow. I felt the pull on my neck. I was now stretching my legs, back and neck gently. I fell asleep.

I woke up on my side. I don't know how long I was in that position. I ran to the wall and measured. 5ft 6in. WTF I measured it two more times. Same. I have never measured that tall. Now I now you are taller in the morning, but every measurement since high school has been 5 ft 5, mostly in the middle of the day at the doctors office. Maybe I've been 5'6 in the morning all along? It is unlikely that one stretch session would gain an 1.5 by itself.

So now I'm wondering if this friction thing can be done in my chair. So I lifted my but off the seat and pressed my back against the back of the chair and let gravity pull my but down, while the friction of the back against the chair pulled my back up. I can feel the pull. I may be on to something here, a way to create heightening tension all day long.

That's it, I'm going to try it. Goal: 5ft 8in. I'm going to use the same principles heat, duration, tension. I want to stretch all day and night and find ways to do that.

I've searched the forums here, looks like Complete Guide to Natural Height Increase After Puberty is a great start. I'll post back my plan and progress.

I know, its stupid, but once again, I'll try to find ways so that I enjoy it and it doesn't take too much time. I already have a pull up bar and an inversion table I've used for back pain. I'll post my plan and progress.

I keep wondering if this is a mid-life crisis. Maybe. But for me, like sports, work, money, it's about testing my limits. I didn't believe PE could work. I don't think back stretches will work. I want to do it....mostly because everyone told me it is impossible.

So I've been PM'd asking about progress on this so I'll share where I'm at.

It looks like 5 ft 6 is here to stay in the morning and I've probably always been that height in the morning, measuring 5 ft 5ish the rest of the time. Right now I'm still experimenting. Just as with pe, I have to find a routine I can do nearly everyday and will strain the posterior chain without injuring myself. The trick is trying to find a way to stretch 24 hours a day. If I sit up straight and push down on my thighs with my hands I can feel pull in my back and abmodmen. Its just not practical to do that 24 hours a day. I used devices for pe. I don't know if I can find something practical for my back, neck without looking like an idiot or that I've been injured.

I'm looking at a regular quick morning routine: jumping as high as I can to warm up, then hanging situps, backward hand walk down a wall to progress to stand to stand bridges. Yoga: Camel, Cobra, Ustra Asana, Sarvang Asana(all the way over) and Paschimotan Asana.

The high jumper, Rustam Akhmetov has written book (unfortunately in Russian) believing it is possible. I will test what I learn from the web of his theory on myself. I'll leverage the articles on Agrowbics. I wonder if the spike in GH from fasting can be leveraged somehow. Will it work for someone in their fifties? ...We'll see. Astronauts do it. 2 inches sounds reasonable. I've gotten that much on a much smaller part of my body. I'll be experimenting the next few months. I'm still fiddling with the routine.

This all sounds like spinal decompression.

I agree with Pegasus--any height gained would be due to your spine being decompressed (hence why astronauts return to earth taller--no gravity in space--although this is only temporary). Growth hormone (HGH) would have no effect in an adult (of any age) passed puberty, as the growth plates in the long bones (ie: your legs) have fused. In other words, even if you were to shoot up obscene amounts of human growth hormone, it would have no effect on your height (but it would likely distort other parts of your body like your skull, hands, and feet). Even growth hormone injections in a currently growing adolescent (who has otherwise normal levels) can only impact your adult height by so much (maybe adding a few inches). In other words, genetics pretty much determine height, and unlike your penis, there is very little that can be done to augment it.

Most boys are done growing between 16-18--some sooner, and some into their late teens/very early 20's. As far as I know, the only way to increase height post puberty is through surgical intervention, which essentially requires either the femurs or tibias of both legs be broken, an internal rod inserted, and the bone to be slowly lengthened over a period of months. Contrary to what one may think, cosmetic limb lengthening has come a long way, and is not as involved or painful as it once was (although it is still a very major procedure and a significant psychological undertaking for the patient willing to undergo it).

There is definitely spinal decompression involved. Would you say this is all spinal decompression? :
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=long+neck.../main-qimg-0bbb1f761d2da4f5fe4887000e5513f5-c

Obviously I do not intend to do that, as I hope my increase to be distributed.

In then end, if I get 2 inches from "extra" spinal decompression I'll have moved dramatically in this distribution:

Most people believe that pe can't be done in older age. Penn and Teller even had an episode of BS on it. There's a documentary of some guy trying to lengthen his member as an adult and failed, UnHung Hero or something. Most people believe that pe is impossible.

We know better here, it takes tension and time.

The body responds to stimulus...and I don't think that is limited to the penis.
