I may never need to fight and I may never need a gun but those are two situations Im not willing to end up in without the proper tools & training. You cant always prevent it and when you cant all you can do is be prepared. As a father I feel it is my responsibility to protect my family and I hate to think I couldn't do it if I had to. I'd hate to think that just having a gun on me or knowing how to defend myself could have saved the life of myself, my wife or my kids one day and I wasn't prepared. One thing about violent crimes is police generally do crime scene investigation not prevention so its up to you to prepare for the worst and hope for the best or you can go through life taking your chances.
Amen to that!
Sometimes you can't prevent it and if someone stands before you with a knife in his hands and you're driven into a corner .. I don't give a fuck what the police thinks or how many years I'll have to spent in jail et. Sounds real badass I know, but if my life depends of it ...
I also imagine stuff like what if you're walking with your girl and all of a sudden some guys start tapping her ass and stuff like that .. Just to provoke you! It would be wise to just walk further but there's always that "guycode" that says you need to whope their asses. (now some of you will say just walking further makes you a real man .. Don't blow this thing up. A girl wants to feel protected around you. Imagine some guys just making fun of her while you stand there like a wuss ..)
I just want to know some tricky things you can do to hurt or just paralize somebody for a few seconds so I can safely get away.
A buddy of mine has a, I can't come up with the word at the moment, but a shop where you can buy french fries (although It's Belgian!!!!!!) .. One night 3 guys entered his shop with knives .. There you stand. Luckily for him they just wanted money and they left .. Nobody was there, no surveillance cameras .. He was lucky. Can you imagine him getting stabbed, bleeding to death and the 3 guys taking the money and run away ..
