Okay, so... This is something that's peculiar to me.

Are there areas inside the vagina that are much less sensitive than others? I know this seems like a dumb question, but i'm genuinely curious.

What does it mean when a girl says she can't feel you at a certain point inside her?

I think nobody has answered yet because the question is a little unclear.
Is she saying that she can feel you at first, but at a later point in time she cant? Or she can feel the sensations near the opening of the vagina, but not at a point deeper in the vagina?

Its widely accepted that most nerve endings in the vagina are closer to the opening, so it would stand to reason that sensitivity goes down some as you go deeper (just as in us men, most of us are more sensitive near the glans than the base).

My take on it? Comparatively, for me I can feel stimulation at the center of the shaft, and it can be enjoyable- but it won't give me an orgasm. Perhaps the comment was more in reference to an orgasmic type of stimulation?

I can see how that can be confusing.

What's happening is if using shallow stroke a woman loses her arousal level. She is literally numb in the center. Other than the g spot. Between the g spot and the anterior fornix there's no feeling to the point she dries, is that something that is normal?

Deep spot (deep penetration) stimulation can and does bring this woman to orgasm as well as digital penetration (fingers and thumbs), but lesser penetration cases a loss of sensation. Also, if said woman is very turned on she becomes extremely wet to the point she can't feel anything moving inside her, exacerbating the loss of feeling halfway into her.

To add, sometimes a male she is intimate with may not be able to feel much inside her after she climaxes and has to Kegel hard to get any sensation back. It may also feel to the male that he is in an open area just after the entrance point, but can feel her cervix and feel himself push it back considerably and then up and over it or behind it into the deeper stimulation areas.

This loss of sensation for her at all times past a certain point and a loss of sensation in just about the whole travel after a climax or two, is this whole thing normal in a sense?

Based on my understanding, so far, the Clitoris has just as many nerve endings in it as our Frenulum does.

The inner G-Spot and A-Spot is very similar to our prostate.

As far as the Deep Spot in the cul-de-sac, I'm not too sure, yet.

Of course there are few nerve endings in the lips, the space between the Clit and the opening of the vagina, and other random areas inside the vagina, but the Clit, G-Spot, A-Spot, and Deep Spot are the four spots that are most stimulating because they bare the most nerve endings.

Hey Jay1983,

The location you mentioned between the clitoris and the opening of the vagina is called the "U-spot" , which is another well-known "hot spot" for women. :)

Yes, but what was even more important is that you knew WHERE it was and WHAT do there!! Speaking for women everywhere, I applaud you! :clap2:

I mean I know these Specialty areas. I'm not asking what are the sensitive spots as I've spent a lot of time perfecting my craft. I'm asking specifically if there's numb portions of the vagina to which a female can not feel. And I specifically ask because of situations that arise where there's a numbness in a specific partners vagina. I've never had this happen before but I've also never logged accounts of who feel what where.

She specifically loses sensation mid way through her vaginal track and picks it back up later down near her cervix.

Due to her... Unfortunate past I was hoping there wasn't actual nerve damage done by this depraved person, but I think there was. That's why I'm asking of its normal to feel sensation the entire length of the vagina.

At a certain part of the vagina she has "are you in?" moments. Granted she's never said that. I tell her to never fake and she hadn't. So when she told me what was going on an why she would be super wet then when I stroked shallow she'd go dry it was confusing to me.

I'm not exactly a small guy, so it's a little disconcerting, lol!!

Sorry. Can't edit posts. Meant to update my stats.

Last time I measured I was 8.75" long and a very conservatively measured 5.4375" (1/16" below 5.5 tape pulled tight!!)

It's probably very individual and I have no problem believing that some people probably do have different spots that lack sensitivity. It's certainly the case with me - I often read about how sensitive most guys glans are, but mine have almost no feeling at all and never have (its almost like all of my nerves are concentrated in one single spot in the underside about half an inch behind the coronal ridge). I wouldn't take offense if she has something similar going on, we're all different!

Absolutely not. Would never take offense. I was just curious if this was something common and if it was something I should look into further. I know women have the ability to speak from first hand experience, for sure, about all the intricacies of their lady bits.

I did think I might need some more girth for a short while but I just let rest on the fact she's had a bit of trouble in this area before and not to think it was my fault instantly.

Hey somebodyelse,

A lack of sensitivity or numbness in a woman's vagina is actually more common than you may think. Women of all ages can suffer from it. I understand there may be different reasons for this; age (hormones), pregnancy/childbirth, trauma to the area, over-sensitivity during sexual play (causing numbness), extreme wetness during sexual play (causing a lack of friction) and sometimes it can even be psychological. If she is concerned, she may want to talk to her OB/GYN about it to determine the cause, however, if she is having no difficulty achieving orgasm most of the time, you can perhaps solve the problem with a change of sexual position or technique.

Thanks TPW

The wetness factor comes into play after a serious orgasm. One of her larger more powerful ones that make her "squirt" as she says from the inside. She feel it come out of "somewhere" and when she gets that wet she looses friction. I just whisper to her in her ear and remind her when that happens to squeeze down as hard as she can and that makes it better.

The problem she was having was that if I stroke halfway inside her, she only feels me at the entrance. Nowhere else. This isn't pleasurable to her so she ends up drying out until I delve deeper back inside her and hit her lower areas.

I have never had this phenomenon happen before where half strokes can't be felt. I felt like I was too thin or something lol! I know I'm long enough and she has trouble getting me inside when we start, so I know I'm not too small. It's just if I half stroke she dries out because she literally can't feel me.

Btw. This is the girl whom I am/was/am dating. She was anorgasmic before me. We worked and worked and I loosened her up emotionally and mentally to the point she's able to be multi-orgasmic.

She even got to the point I've always wanted to get a woman. Bouncing around the bed uncontrollably from penetrative orgasms. Lovingly calling me all kinds of buttholes and jerks for not stopping the deep penetration before she came uncontrollably, lol.

Either way, she has had some trauma. She was... Well mistreated, we'll say, as a child. I think not only mental but physical damage was done to her. :-(

However, if you say it's relatively common I guess there's nothing wrong and I just gotta level up. Hehehehe

Know this spot drives the wife crazy, did not know it's "official" name. Learn something new everyday.

It is terribly unfortunate about your girl's past trauma; but it is wonderful that she has found a kind, patient and knowledgeable lover! Not only has she become multi-orgasmic, it sounds like she is a "squirter" or "gusher" as female ejaculators are sometimes called which is awesome.

Yes, it is relatively common and if she is not suffering any pain or discomfort, then I say, Carry on! ;)

I believe this spot is also known as the Clitoral Shaft :)

Just an FYI Condar,

The U-spot and Clitoral Shaft are actually two different spots...as explained by Desmond Morris :)

The clitoris is larger than previously thought, much of it being hidden beneath the surface. The part that is visible is simply its tip, the rest of its length – its shaft – lying beneath the surface and extending down to surround the vaginal opening. This means that, during pelvic thrusting, its concealed part will be massaged vigorously by the movements of the inserted penis. There will therefore always be some degree of clitoral stimulation, even when the tip is not touched directly. The clitoral shaft is, however, less sensitive than the exposed tip, so that direct contact with the tip will always have a greater impact on female arousal. Some women claim that, by employing a rhythmic, downward roll of the pelvis, they can create a direct friction on the clitoris tip while the male is making pelvic thrusts, and can in this way magnify their arousal, but this requires a more dominant role for the female, which is not always accepted by the male.

The U-Spot. This is a small patch of sensitive erectile tissue located just above and on either side of the urethral opening. It is absent just below the urethra, in the small area between the urethra and the vagina. If this region was gently caressed, with the finger, the tongue, or the tip of the penis, there was an unexpectedly powerful erotic response.
