Hopefully I put this in the right forum. I was just reading the recently posted article of food nutrition that benefits PE.

My question is, is too much a bad thing? I'm currently trying to gain muscle mass and been eating a lot. It just so happens that I eat a lot of the food on this list daily. I'm also taking Vitamins and 1500mg of L-Arginine, along with creatine 189 by capsule. Could I be over killing it or am I fine?

You are fine. Nothing is proven anyway - but after an unbelievable number of discussions on nutrition and pe, the general consensus is to try and eat as healthily as possible. For all we know (due to biological creep being how part of pe gains are thought to happen) deliberately being deficient in some micro nutrient could be an undiscovered path to accelerated gains, but i for one am going to put put my health 1st every time.

That's a great question, Eightportal! Although there are some vitamins where overdosing can be a hazard -- for instance, too much vitamin C or zinc could cause nausea, diarrhea, and stomach cramps. Too much selenium could lead to problems including hair loss, gastrointestinal upset, fatigue, and mild nerve damage -- oftentimes the body will simply expel the vitamins it doesn't need in your urine. Overdosing on the vitamins usually just results in really expensive urine. ;-)

Thanks for the replys. Its reassuring to hear that I am fine with my routine. I just quit smoking cigarettes a couple weeks ago after 10 years of smoking, and I seem to have much better flow to my unit. With that in mind I might cut back on the L-Arginine a hair.

It's always good to put your supplements through cycles. Depending on your intake, cycling a week off once a month is never a bad idea.

I take a multi vitamin, creatine monohydrate, whey protein, and an NO pre workout when I exercise. I always cut the creatine and the pre workout booster for a week every month, just to let my intestines relax (I have a very bad stomach condition). By doing this I realized I actually gain faster and have more energy than running straight through my workout regiment without cycling for months like I use to do.

Just eat clean, what is good for the body is also just for the penis. Their is no magic penis food or any penis specific food.

A diet geared towards optimizing testosterone is ideal imo. There are whole books on the subject, however it largely boils down to eating all the really healthy stuff and avoiding processed foods and trying to eliminate sugar and bread etc.
