Overall I am fit but my butt are little bit heavy and provide an odd look. I want to match them with my whole body so please tell me what are the best workouts for reducing hips. Is there any type of workout that can specifically target hips and thighs fat? What type of food would be best along with workouts to reduce hips quickly.?

Well, the hip fat you want to lose is in a sexual way very important because most women like a man with a nice, not rock hard, arse. And as all fat you never know where it will disappear from, I would like to lose some of my fat pad and I exercise to get there, however my fat pad seems to resist my efforts and stays there.
I can only give you some exercises to exercise your gluteus', if you are interested.

I don't really know, but I presume that squats and intervall training would be beneficial :)

Diet and cardio, there's no such thing as spot training for fat loss

If a male stores fat in the hips and thighs it's because they produce more estrogen then normal. *Look at women who go through menopause - if they've always stored fat in the hips and thighs they begin storing it in their abdominal region...

Anyhow, you can't spot reduce so you need to focus on losing fat - overall.

If you can't afford a personal trainer pick up some books on amazon and find the right training program for your body. T-nation is also a good place to find good (free) info.

Plus, you need to eat right. Pick up some books on that too. Paleo and primal blueprint are a good place to start.

Jogging, and running are more effective workouts to reduce the hip fat.
These two workouts burn the fat more effectively and more quickly and help to get a slim body.
Swimming can also help a lot to reduce the hip fat.

IMO Air squats, lunges, biking, hula hooping? Lol. Cardio cardio and more cardio!!. Stop once you have a puddle of sweat around you..trust me that will do it. Also try the climbers..get on a push up position and just, kick knees up as fast as you can for 30 sec straight. Also try this..get knees and hands to floor..knees below hips. Hands below shoulders..reach left hand, out and kick right foot out..hold for 5 seconds and repeat opposite side.

Cardio, a good diet and there is a program called Slim in 6 by Debbie Siebers that targets specifically those areas. You will be crying from the pain in your glutes by the third day but it works.
