I just had the surgery to correct Peyonie's and if there's anybody in PEGym who has it or thinks they have it, I'm willing to share my experience and try to be of some assistance.

My understanding (in 2006) is that the surgery is dangerous + makes you shorter. is that true?

I was wondering since Peyronies is due to scar tissue if this was noticeable when you were hard / flaccid? Could you feel it? Did it make your penis harder but less spongy?

I had major reservations about the surgery in the beginning, but after not having the sex life I used to as a result of the curve I had, I decided to speak to my doctor and to tell you the truth, it was the best thing I did. As far as the surgery was concerned, I had one of the best surgeons in the nation, and it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Pain factor from the day of surgery to full recovery: 6. Now I'm back on track and it's great!!!

Hi ABF3CVN69,

What did the surgery entail? Did they remove scar tissue? Also, did you sustain an injury that brought on the peyronie's disease? Or did it just appear out of the blue?

Thanks in advance for answering these questions, and congratulations on your successful recovery.
