Hi guys,

Just looking for some advice on the old fat pad.

My goal is to get my fat pad down to about 0.3" to 0.5" in depth. I am 6' 5" and about 16.5 stone but would ideally like to be about 13 stone - that is what I'm working towards. Do you think that losing that much weight would have any positive impact on my fat pad? Also, how much could be removed with liposuction do you think? I'm quite comfortable with the idea of what I guess is considered as having cosmetic surgery but just want to get an idea of how effective it is?

A final question lol. When I measure from bone pressed I am actually measuring from the pubic bone at it's most pronounced point - this gives me a bpel of 7.3/7.4" (consistently); however, when I measure directly above the penis it seems like I am pushing in to the ligaments and I get about 7.7/7.8". I think I am measuring the correct way but could someone confirm for me please?

Best regards,

It doesn't matter how you measure, as long as you do it the same way consistently, if you are looking for a change. It isn't as if you are going for position in the worldwide penis size ranking.

I think liposuction is quite effective but quite expensive. Unless you had a very thick fat pad I think it would be a very long run for a short slide.

Losing weight will reduce fat pad thickness some but it is also determined by age and genetics. Even when I was much younger, and at or under 12% body fat , I still had a fat pad thickness of around 3/4" to the best of my recollection. Subcutaneous fatty tissue shifts floorward with age and gravity.

I have heard of a lot of slender guys with a fat pad thickness of less than .5" but not many claiming less than .25".

Thanks for your reply Redbear52

When you say lipo is expensive - do you think you could get a good job done for about £2500?

I think my plan would be to get the fat pad down as low as possible naturally and then go in for the kill with lipo. I have heard that you should keep at the very least 0.25" of fat pad for protection during sex - I guess that is for protecting the pubic bone? Age is on my side, I'm just 25 so that should help.

By the way, 12% body fat is impressive, I am about twice that at the moment lol

Thanks,

Exercise is the cheapest way of reducing the fat pad. I swim laps from May through September. During September, my fat pad is about .75" and is now up to 1" after the long layover. If you don't have access to a pool, sit ups and/or push ups and/or leg lifts should do as well or better.

I'm a very slender wiry guy with good muscle tone. It'd be fair to say you don't get much less slender than me without being skinny. Fat pad is about .5 inches, maybe just a little under.

Liposuction can also lead to uneven contours of the body. This occurs because each side of the chest is operated separately. Thus, the chances of a slight difference in the contours of the two sides are quite high ....
