I have read several debates about whether girth gains may make length gains more difficult. I am curious what the PEGYM consensus is.

Just to be clear, I am asking if actual girth GAINS will effect the ease of length gains. Not whether doing girth work in conjunction with length work will effect length gains.

What is your opinion?

Thanks for participating

I don't know, but I can see how it might affect gains.

HOWEVER, with the mitosis principles at work, more should just lead to, well, even more!

Its all about how much you have under tension and for how long.

My opinion, but hell, I have gained an inch with my extender. The exercises have helped IMMENSELY though.

Yes and no.

Actually calixto...with manual exercises, there is very little mitosis going on. What happens to the penis is "cellular hypertrophy" where the cells become bigger, rather than reproducing themselves (mitosis is the general term). The more specific term for mitosis of tissue is called hyperplasia. Hyperplasia will only happen with DHT gel and certain chemicals. Yes, there will be a little bit of hyperplasia with PE, but 96% of it is hypertrophy.

So, now to get back to the thread...girth gains will have a small impact on length. But that's not necessarily true for everybody.

Right, that's what I was actually tring to get at, that PE exercises is actually EXPANSION, while extending causes you to actually grow new tissue mitosis/hyperplasia whatever.

So explain what you mean about girth gains affecting length?

Girth gains will add or take away from length gains?

This is worth tracking...

Personally I think that girth gains make gaining length more difficult, but lets gather data
