I was reading the beginners guide and it said that you can JAI stretch each time you go to use the bathroom, doing 5-20 at a time. I thought your supposed to warm up before you stretch. Else it wont be effective. Can anyone clarify?

iamurdestini,

The JIA stretch needs no warm up time, its a stretch that you can do while you are in the bathroom after you have urinated or before. The stretch is only a soft stretch and not a stretch that you pull harder for 30 seconds.

Why do you call it the JAI stretch. Isn't the JAI stretch the basic stretch that beginners are supposed to do? That is the flaccid stretch where you stretch up, straight, down, left, and right. Is it just a term to refer to the shorter version or are those beginner stretches also called JAI?

Health: The JAI Stretch is different from the basic beginner's stretch. You can find the JAI Stretch on this page.
