A 20-year old Kenyan man, Sorence Owiti Opiyo, has had a rough life, and sadly having genitalia that are ten times the normal size is not making his life any easier.
When Sorence was just five years old, he was taken in by his grandmother, following his parent’s death. Five years later, at the age of ten, he discovered a strange swelling, that looked like a boil. He hoped it would simply go away, but it didn’t It just kept growing in size.
His grandmother took him to a physician, and with surgery, the swelling was reduced slightly. However, the condition returned, and now ten years later, the growth on his genitalia has grown so that his genitalia are now ten times the average size of a man.
Sorence has suffered so much from this condition; he has had obvious challenges developing any sort of romantic relationships. He also dropped out of school, due to teasing from others, due to his difficult to conceal condition.
Sorence hopes to have a surgery for this as-of-yet unnamed condition, so he can hopefully have a somewhat normal life. Let’s all take a moment to send out positive thoughts and energy that Sorence gets the medical care he needs.
