Hi guys, so my G.P has decided to refer me to a urologist, does anybody have any recommendations as to how to get the best out of this appointment? What should I be asking etc.

Ask him nothing. Describe your symptoms and issues and he'll do the asking.

You should feel free to ask the urologist whatever you want, but don't feel like there is a burden on you to identify what questions might be important.

Ask him if he’s gonna take you to dinner first before he sticks his finger up your ass.

Seriously though, ask for a testosterone test and possibly a Doppler ultra sound to check blood flow. Good luck.

Thanks for the responses guys, I have had a testosterone test done previously which I posted up in another thread, usual story, I was told it was in the normal range however I was enlightened by Pegasus that I have an old mans level of testosterone. My G.P still refuses to acknowledge this and even if she did she would probably just recommend TRT. I am pursuing the natural methods detailed by Pegasus, thanks Peg. Funnily enough this is why I have asked the question, as I think, had I known about testosterone levels by age, then in my initial consultation I would have been able to start up a discussion on it rather just sheepishly accepting it's normal. I find in the UK it is best to go into doctors appointments with knowledge so as to have a good conversation around the medical issue to get the best out of the appointment.

As for symptoms pretty simple really, no nocturnal erections or morning wood, it just wont work unless I have taken some meds or garlic and vitamin c. Problem is sildenafil wont work in a normal time frame for me anymore and cialis can be hit and miss. I have noticed it has gotten smaller and less spongy in the flaccid state but is the same size as before when erect.

I am doing a kegel routine but I find it quite difficult to control the muscles at the front than the muscles at the poopy end.
