I can't believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner, here in the States! This year feels like it's flown by!

No matter if you live in the US or anywhere else in one of the wonderful areas of the world, it's always a good time to take a moment and think about the good things in your life. :)

So, post here what you're thankful for!

I'll start us off...

I'm thankful for the simple things -- a roof over my head and food on the table. There are so many people who are homeless, all over the world, and even more that go hungry each day. Although this time of year food banks do see an increase in donations, to show my thankfulness, I'm pledging to donate food every month, especially in the lean months for food banks, when people forget about hunger. I'm also committing myself to volunteer twice a month at Feed My Starving Children, to help pack food for the hungry in other areas of the world.

I am thankful that I'm happy and single.

I went through a messy divorce with an abusive ex wife a few years ago. But now....

I have beautiful women asking me for my number or for my time every day, and I enjoy talking with them without playing games. I have no problems meeting women because I am impervious to embarrassment, and secure with my masculinity without trying to be "alpha." I don't sucks up to women for attention, chase them, or push for sex. - Because I don't want to. I just don't, period. I can talk about deep issues without taking on any of their problems or letting anything affect me. I can keep their secrets and mine. And I can be as big of a jerk as I want to be, and still be nice. It's actually pretty!

So, I'm thankful for all of that and what I have learned since she left.

We don't have thanksgiving here, but I guess I don't think about the things I should be grateful for often enough anyway.

I'm grateful for a good many things, most of all my boy who's my best mate, despite any disagreements.

Fair play to you for donating your time, food and effort to others. Better than donating just money IMO, I feel it has more meaning. I'm grateful for those things you mentioned also.

So thankful for Trump and the future of our Supreme Court!
You know what, I am too. I'm glad I voted for Trump! I'm not afraid to admit it.

And I'm thankful for all the butt-hurt millenials, tearful SJWs, violent BLM supporters, and "non-binary" bullshitting special snowflakes for exposing how over privileged everyone in this country is, and giving us all a great source of entertainment.

God bless America!

I'm thankful for having parents that love me regardless of my shortcomings abd disappointments.

I'm thankful for being healthy for the most part

I'm thankful for the fact I've never felt truly alone for long periods of time

I'm thankful for having decent hearing (being sandwiched between a drum kit and my own amp has taken a toll on me) for if I didn't find catharsis through music, I'd be one messed up individual.

I'm thankful to my parents for giving me the chance of seeing so much of the world and being exposed to so many cultures.

I'm thankful to be alive, here and now and just this sentiment makes me miss my family so much.

I'm going to add to my thankful list today. :-D

In addition to being super-thankful for all the active members that post here in the forums (you all are like my extended family!), I'm also thankful for the thousands of lurkers we have here at PEGym!

It warms my heart to know that there are literally thousands of people reading, learning - and hopefully getting inspired!

The reason I joined the PEGym team was because of this site's commitment to truly helping men improve and enhance their lives. I love reading the success stories, because that's proof-positive that we're doing good in this world! But, just knowing there are so many of you who may not feel comfortable talking on the forums, but you're hear listening. And, that's awesome, because I know that's doing good too!

Love all of you - lurkers and active members alike!!

So, we're in Thanksgiving week! What else are you guys thankful for?

Even if you're not celebrating Thanksgiving, focusing on the things you have good in your life is a great way to stay positive! I'm a firm believer that what you focus on in life becomes your reality.

I used to feel the same way but then I quit drinking. Wait! I've never quit drinking.
