Been struggling with preE all my life. I am a 40 yr old guy, my sexual appetite is still raging like a blazing fire, except that I couldn't get past the 2nd pump in intercourse.
I have been reading the forum here, and in particular I read the two stickies from WillGetBetter and ByggD's posts.
I pondered on WillGetBetter's post for the whole week, trying to work out how which piece fits together; especially some yoga exercises are unclear, and not easily decrypted with a search. However, despite the confusion (may be it's just me) these two posts alone are works of art, they are medicine, they are a path to a solution.
So, years ago, I bought a fleshlight (before I discovered this forum) and I was trying to "practice lasting longer by opening porn and pumping away. I wouldn't get very far.
After reading the two posts mentioned above, I have been sitting on a tennis ball, nearly everyday for 2+ hours. Trying to do as much RKs as possible. Every now and then, I'd to the pelvic floor stretches on the video referenced in WillGetBetter's post.
So, few days ago I started edging as per ByggD's instructions in his post. I had been aroused (despite clear instructions to refrain from pornographic arousal) before several sessions. (I was just so horny - I couldn't help my self)
Anyway, firstly, I realised that after a certain arousal level, IKs kick in. HOLY sh*t! It is just a bloody revelation. I can see my penis throb, nodding up and down when I am near the 9-9.9 arousal point. FAR OUT!
So, I'll definitely be focusing on RKs to improve the IKs. (This is what I need to do, right?)
The other thing is, I edged twice today.
The first time, earlier in the day, I was horny as hell, and checked out some sexy photos. Then I went to do my edging. ...
Before I go on, I might have to define some of the different thrust types I had to use in order to continue going for as long as I can.
RegT :
Regular thrusts. I.e. as in how ByggD describes, I modified it to 4 half thrusts and 1 complete/deep thrust. This way, you have 8 half and 2 full thrusts per 10 thrusts, as ByggD suggests.
RaWT :
This one I am calling Rapid Withdraw Thrust. Now, I realised that after my IKs kick in, my glans gets hypersensitive, so, I cannot stay penetrated in the fleshlight in that state. However, if I thrust in and out quickly, I can continue without ejaculating.
DRWT :
This is called the Dual Rapid Withdraw Thrust. That is, I do 2 trusts before I withdraw from penetration
Going back to my edging earlier today, I probably did RegT for like 80-90 thrusts, then I had to switch to RaWT. With this, remember I was pre-aroused when I did this session, I went up to 344 thrusts. Not sure how long it took, but I had to give my self 3-5 seconds every now and then as IKs were kicking in amd I was constantly hitting the 9.9 mark.
Then, on the later edging session, I did how many ever thrusts I did for the RegT, then I switched to RaWT. I did that for a couple hundred thrusts. But, I realised that my IKs were highly manageable. I would do the RaWT pause 300-500 ms and continue. So, eager to get used to my penis being in penetration, I intuitively developed the DRWT. I did that for the remainder of the session. (from like 300 0r 400 onwards) A session that got up to 800 trusts!!!
WHAT THE HELL? 800!!!?
It was so long, (it felt like ages for me) that I felt like, ok, I think this is long enough for now without EJACULATING!!! AND - there was this kind of relief that I knew I could probably go on for longer and still manage not to ejaculate. Whoa!
If you have any thoughts, suggestions or advice you have thus far, by all means, please respond.

So, with my RaWT thrusts in my edging session, am I cheating by withdrawing because the sensations get too intense? Does it defeat the purpose? Or should I continue to try and thrust for as long as I can, and I would eventually be able thrust more and more without the need for withdrawal?
The other thing I have realised is that this arousal matter is one of my key failure points. I really need to learn more about arousal and how to manage arousal. So, if I am thinking about a sexy position or a particular thing I find extremely sexy and arousing, that just throws me off the edge.
For example, say I find women in stilettos sexy as hell. That just throws me over the edge. With edging, if I continue to be able to do it for longer and longer, without visual stimuli, will I eventually be able to control my self while I am having sex with a woman in stilettos?
