Hi All,
Been struggling with preE all my life. I am a 40 yr old guy, my sexual appetite is still raging like a blazing fire, except that I couldn't get past the 2nd pump in intercourse.

I have been reading the forum here, and in particular I read the two stickies from WillGetBetter and ByggD's posts.

I pondered on WillGetBetter's post for the whole week, trying to work out how which piece fits together; especially some yoga exercises are unclear, and not easily decrypted with a search. However, despite the confusion (may be it's just me) these two posts alone are works of art, they are medicine, they are a path to a solution.

So, years ago, I bought a fleshlight (before I discovered this forum) and I was trying to "practice lasting longer by opening porn and pumping away. I wouldn't get very far.

After reading the two posts mentioned above, I have been sitting on a tennis ball, nearly everyday for 2+ hours. Trying to do as much RKs as possible. Every now and then, I'd to the pelvic floor stretches on the video referenced in WillGetBetter's post.

So, few days ago I started edging as per ByggD's instructions in his post. I had been aroused (despite clear instructions to refrain from pornographic arousal) before several sessions. (I was just so horny - I couldn't help my self)

Anyway, firstly, I realised that after a certain arousal level, IKs kick in. HOLY sh*t! It is just a bloody revelation. I can see my penis throb, nodding up and down when I am near the 9-9.9 arousal point. FAR OUT!

So, I'll definitely be focusing on RKs to improve the IKs. (This is what I need to do, right?)

The other thing is, I edged twice today.

The first time, earlier in the day, I was horny as hell, and checked out some sexy photos. Then I went to do my edging. ...

Before I go on, I might have to define some of the different thrust types I had to use in order to continue going for as long as I can.

RegT :
Regular thrusts. I.e. as in how ByggD describes, I modified it to 4 half thrusts and 1 complete/deep thrust. This way, you have 8 half and 2 full thrusts per 10 thrusts, as ByggD suggests.

RaWT :
This one I am calling Rapid Withdraw Thrust. Now, I realised that after my IKs kick in, my glans gets hypersensitive, so, I cannot stay penetrated in the fleshlight in that state. However, if I thrust in and out quickly, I can continue without ejaculating.

DRWT :
This is called the Dual Rapid Withdraw Thrust. That is, I do 2 trusts before I withdraw from penetration

Going back to my edging earlier today, I probably did RegT for like 80-90 thrusts, then I had to switch to RaWT. With this, remember I was pre-aroused when I did this session, I went up to 344 thrusts. Not sure how long it took, but I had to give my self 3-5 seconds every now and then as IKs were kicking in amd I was constantly hitting the 9.9 mark.

Then, on the later edging session, I did how many ever thrusts I did for the RegT, then I switched to RaWT. I did that for a couple hundred thrusts. But, I realised that my IKs were highly manageable. I would do the RaWT pause 300-500 ms and continue. So, eager to get used to my penis being in penetration, I intuitively developed the DRWT. I did that for the remainder of the session. (from like 300 0r 400 onwards) A session that got up to 800 trusts!!!

WHAT THE HELL? 800!!!?

It was so long, (it felt like ages for me) that I felt like, ok, I think this is long enough for now without EJACULATING!!! AND - there was this kind of relief that I knew I could probably go on for longer and still manage not to ejaculate. Whoa!

If you have any thoughts, suggestions or advice you have thus far, by all means, please respond.

I have been wondering these questions since I started edging in the past week or so;
So, with my RaWT thrusts in my edging session, am I cheating by withdrawing because the sensations get too intense? Does it defeat the purpose? Or should I continue to try and thrust for as long as I can, and I would eventually be able thrust more and more without the need for withdrawal?

The other thing I have realised is that this arousal matter is one of my key failure points. I really need to learn more about arousal and how to manage arousal. So, if I am thinking about a sexy position or a particular thing I find extremely sexy and arousing, that just throws me off the edge.

For example, say I find women in stilettos sexy as hell. That just throws me over the edge. With edging, if I continue to be able to do it for longer and longer, without visual stimuli, will I eventually be able to control my self while I am having sex with a woman in stilettos?

Thanks a million to everyone here and for all those hard efforts in writing all these resources. I wish I had found this 20 years ago.

Not sure what type of imbalances you're asking about, however, I do not have significant postural problems, I don't think.

I don't know the technical terms but, I do not have an arching back, I stand up straight, I don't have my shoulders closing in on my chest, etc...

Every so often, I would realise I have relaxed my lower back while in the sitting position. I constantly need to make a conscious effort tense up the lower back to get it "curved straight", if that makes sense. I do the "Good Mornings" exercises occasionally to strengthen those lower back muscles.

Not sure if that is a problem?

I'd just like to report an update.

I think I need to update my original post with a dictionary section too.

So, after I went to sleep last night, woke up again with an erection. Half sleepy, I released. Then, in the morning when I woke up, again I have an erection. Yep, I did it again. :bad:

Anyway, for my first edging session today, I was having erection quality problems (is it any wonder), so, for the first 200 or so thrusts I did RegT, because I was having EQ issues (I was going soft very quickly if I stopped stimulation) it appeared that with a fairly rythmic pace I could do full thrusts with no half thrusts. So, I did this for about up to 1350 trusts. Then, I did some DRWT, but with the fleshlight slippery and needing lube every so often, I'd soften up a little, and that would allow me to do the full complete thrusts, again.

I finished up at 1640 thrusts, for a time of 32minutes.

No auditory, visual or audio-visual stimulation, obviously.


Any comments on this? This is a false progress isn't it, because I released twice, and there's no biological chemistry driving the urges?

Update on the second session for the day.

I am positively surprised and puzzled at the same time. So, I struggle with the RegT thrusts for some reason. Full thrusts just seem easier, and seems to be easier on the glans sensitivity.

This session, I had recovered from the symptoms of the earlier session for the day. No erection quality problems. Erect and hard all the way.

I had no gradual escalation of arousal though. It was all over the place. At times I thought of my self with an actual woman in various positions as I am thrusting; almost immediately I get (and FEEL) the IKs and my arousal shoot directly to 9.9 where I had to pull out and pause.

However, at times, I'd be pumping 10-15 thrusts in a row before I hit the 9-9.9 boundary again where I pull out pause for half a seconds and then continue with what ever feels right. Sometimes I am doing the DWRT, sometimes I am doing triple thrust and (surprisingly) rarely I was resorting to RaWT.

I did this session for an hour. Yes, 1 hour (AND I still had an erection at the end????!!!) and no ejaculation. I did a total of 2400 thrusts in this time.

Again, I have a question...
Am I making real progress here? When I start having stimulation (audio-visual, visual, audio or even physical with a real woman) am I going to see any fruits of these edging sessions? That is, will I see *ANY* improvement when I am faced with the said stimuli?

EDIT:
Oh, also, would you believe it after some point and times thereafter my glans actually felt sore! lol At those tome the lube was drying and and I kept going and the lube as it dries feels stickier, and was giving the edges of my glans a hard time lol
Any one ever feel sore from thrusting like this?

I started this thread to get advice and ask questions, perhaps being new here I should be asking questions in threads that are specific to the topics I am asking about.

With that said, I am confused about my journey, and what is happening.

Last night after my session I went to bed. I could not sleep.Tossing and turning. I got my phone and started checking out chicks in sexy heels. Lying on my chest, penis erect and rubbing on the surface beneath me, all of a sudden I am jumping over the PONR and releasing like no tomorrow. I wasn't even watching porn, all it takes me to jump the edge is this, Enjoying some bronze legs on heels and god-damn sexy outfit.

So, today first session, I am sensitive, and I have the 1-pump-chump symptoms slapping me in the face.

I could not use any of the specific thrust definitions above. For the first 200 or so thrusts, I had ta basic rhythm of about 3 pumps for 2 seconds, something like that. Then past that I was just doing half a thrust per second. So, slowly in, slowly out. I could have done the RaWT, but I feel like I am cheating when I do that.

In any case, I could only do 700 thrusts in 32minutes. Just thinking of a womans name would take me to 9.9 instantly (i.e. a particular woman's name whom I can potentially have sex with). Had to stop several times. Tried a few RKs at those stops.

Not going to talk about EQ, it was evident, but not as bad as the first time. So, I can't expect to ejaculate and within 4 hours expect another session scott-free. May be not at 40.

Any advice, apart from telling me "f**king control your self and do not use any stimulation that will make you ejaculate"?

I didn't have much EQ problems, as I did in the fiirst session. I forced my self to edge until I hit the 30 minute mark and could only manage 700 thrusts. There signs of extreme sensitivity and IKs in this session, clear indicators of my PreE.

First session, I was having problem maintaining an erection, I needed to be visually stimulated. So, I used some sexy photos to raise arousal. This was going well, I had done 800 thrusts in 17 minutes but got interrupted. Goal was to maintain 30minutes, no matter how difficult.

Attempted first session again a bit later.Had EQ problems again. Used photos to raise arousal. Work fine. Past 600, I was struggling to penetrate, as I was very sensitive. So, I started doing my RaWT thrusts. However, at the 17:18 mark, I did my rapid thrust in and out, and I found my self past the PONR.

I don't know what's going on... How do I know I am making progress?

I would advice you to listen to Byggd and not use any stimuli. You need to first learn your body reactions, the pelvic floor specifically. And NEVER edge when you're horny. That's big mistake.
The video with pelvic floor stretches is very good, and do it every day. If you can, add the Minuteman's kegel routine so you get your pelvic floor stabilized sooner.
While edging focus on getting into plateau, the pleasurable state.

I read your thread man. Congrats on your achievements so far with size. Your achievement is encouraging for me, once I have my preE routine settled, I'll consider investing in a pump and start with PE exercises. Thanks for the inspiration, dude!

You are making progress, that's for sure. But don't fool yourself, it takes a lot of time.

I suppose, I'm just after some consistency. Am I a minute man now, or 5-minute man or what? I seem to be all over the place. I knew that I wasn't going get over this overnight, but an hour in one session and 10minutes in another, what's the differentiating factor?

haha, yeah, I count the thrusts, indeed. My logic is with the measurement of time and thrusts, later on I can review whether I am improving on intensity. So, if you had a woman who enjoyed rapid thrusting, then the whole timing factor is just out the window now, isn't it? Because you have just increased intensity, thereby, your stamina of 20 minutes might just mean 5 minutes. Without measuring thrusts, there's no way you could gauge that improvement. So, essentially, I'd be looking at an average thrusts per unit of time. So, in one of my recent sessions, in the beginning I timed 33 thrusts in 27 seconds, 1.2 thrusts per second. In retrospect, that's rather fast for someone like my self (i.e. preE condition). So, eventually, I'm thinking 0.8-1 thrusts per second for 20-30 minutes or so would be king. But yet to be seen with experience.

So, what are we supposed to do when we're horny? I mean, I'll eventually get horny, and sex will be constantly on my mind. Probably until I release. This also raises the question, if I can't learn to control my self while I am horny, how can I have sex with a woman? Any time but when you're horny?

You are most welcome. I think you got arousal problem since you can thrust fast and edge without problem. You will need to learn to control your arousal, and the horniness. The mindset should be to get erect ONLY when you get stimulated - you are about to have sex, the girl grabs it and starts stroking - thus making you have erection. You want to learn to control the erection. Since you can't keep an erection without porn, you got a big arousal issue. I would just suggest you do the Bygdd program, if it doesn;t help then do Dummer19.
You get horny, you breathe deep, and try to control it. It's hard I know, I am having similar problem. Watching porn and fighting the erection. After all the goal is to be in complete control.

Ok, from my last experience, I took a break to read a bit more, try to learn some more about what's happening to me and consider the advice I got here. Also, I don't know, it's either what VirgilD5to6 said rr I have a libido problem, that I was struggling to maintain an erection, following my last experience with edging.

In the meantime, I got myself some dextromethorphan, and started taking that just to see if it works. I have been taking it for the past day and a half. My dose is half the prescribed dose on the label, 2 times a day. The below sessions are therefore under the influence of enhancers.

I had like 15seconds to 30 minutes, I actually pumped really quickly that last 15s or so, and didn't even ejaculate.
Could have gone for longer, ideally try the hour mark, but I had stuff to do. May be I'll try a second session before the night ends. In any case, though, I really do not know whether these sessions help or not. I do know though, that If I know I have sex planned a day or two in advance, then you can really prepare and make it an enjoyable one.


Second session - late night

As soon as I started, I felt the intensity, the sensitivity... Dextromethorphan must be wearing off. I had to slow down, otherwise I was going to ejaculate.

I did some labour intensive work today. I was tired to say the least. I didn't think I was going to be able to squeeze in a session of edging. I forced my self for a session of edging at the very end of the night.
I don't know what's happening. I think the release last night has my physiology lagging? Libido lagging? Anyway, I think I felt what a plateau feels likes in this session. My erection was hitting an 8 or a 9, I felts it get rock hard in the FL, I did RKs WHILE thrusting. 20-30secs later my erection would go down to a 4 or 5, still erect and able to thrust. At times I had to top up lube, that dropped to a 3ish, some times it went as low as 2ish. I have never thrusted like this in my life though, as in rapidness. Usually, if I thrust this quick, I would not reach 50, if I even get past 20.

So, this is why I say, I do not know what's happening. It's like a roller coaster. This would be awesome even if you could just get 5 days in a row of this...

At first when I started, it felt like I can thrust like superman :confused: which for the first 100, I didn't exaggerate the pace. In the second 100, I went ballistic, as fast as I could. The lube was losing it's effect and drying out, too. So, the FL was clinging on to my penis/glans. Approaching the the last 15, I started doing RKs, and finished it. In the third hundred, I felt my gland switch back to PreE glans. SUPER SENSITIVE. Had to slow the hell down. the next 500 hundred I SLOOOOOOWED down. I was adamant filling 1 hour though, I packing in as much RKs as possible. For a while it was working. I was holding of at 8. Then, I felt my IKs at times AND while I was doing RKs as soon as I released I felt the tight pelvic floor tightning up to a kegel. At one point I thought I wasn't going to be able to last the hour.

Also, from the very get go, my glans edges were sore, at times they stung. I will need to ask about this


Update:
Actually just realised now, after an hour two later. my penis is tender in underwear. Upon inspecting, the section just before the glans is swollen.

Suppose I should take a break...

Figure out your imbalances and you'll solve your problems. Post a posture pic. Right now edging and all that sh*t isnt worth it. The only way you will improve is fixing your imbalances. I'm telling you this from personal experience.

So, from my deduction and some help from other members I have found that I most certainly have an imbalance in my PF. Currently trying to address that via WillGetBetter's Sticky post and I've been trying to document clarifications to exactly what the stretches prescribed were with this and the subsequent 2 posts, however, WillGetBetter is long gone and I have not been able to get answers to all the questions I posed. If you think it's relevant and can assist, I'd be grateful.

I may not be aware of postural imbalance in this context. However, the only thing postural I struggle with is lower back. Sitting down, slanted in an office chair all day, your lower back muscles learn to relax, as it is supported by the back of the chair. The moment you sit unsupported elsewhere, that relaxed state of the lower back is sustained. So, it becomes a conscious effort to to keep a "straight" lower back. I do the Good Mornings work outs to build lower back muscles on occasion to support this aim.

If there's more to it than that, I need take a posture photo for analysis and diagnosis, I suppose.

Ok, So, it has been a little over a week. At the 7 day mark I tried rubbed my tool, I could still feel that slight sting that the swollen state gave, but it is by no means swollen. So I let it go for a little while.

Going to focus on getting the answers I raised about the PreE90 and want to seriously dedicate my self to those stretches to address the physical aspect of my PreE. I still get IK, I tried visual stimulus today for the heck of it, and immediately felt those pesky IKs again. Gotta do the PF stretches.

In the past week:
