Talked to my Primary care doctor about seeing a PF specialist.
He told me they typically are there to help women, told me they'd scratch their head in confusion and not have much to do for me.

Great.

I'm still uncertain whether or not my PF is even tense to the point it's causing problems, but it still sucks to not have that avenue to go towards if need be.

I don't think you are going to find a doctor who knows a lot about PF for men.

Do some kegels and reverse kegels and see what happens. Honesty the doctor to my knowledge isn't going to have anything else say.

Just get the referral anyway. Just because the doctor doesn't know is no reason to stop. The muscles are the same for men and women.

I know they're similar, but I thought they were different. BC and PC.

In reality we are so very similar. The issues are even pretty similar. Differences? Yes. Terribly different? No.

If you have a Pf dysfunction you shouldn't be doing ANY kegeling.

Agree with all of this except I would just do reverse kegels only...and only add regular kegels
when the reverse are really strong.
