WOW Will! Really nice Thread - this like many other posts of you give me more motivation to do the work. Thank for all your information you are share here. For me i think we got almost the same issues but you where a more strict and dont find any excuses to pause, like u say u stay awake when everyone sleeps you get up earlier, really really nice work you put in here. I just wish you and your wife all the best with the new sexlife.

Thanks to your post i was so motivatet i do a double training yesterday - i hopefully will get there some day..
I got a few good tips from your post - thanks for that.

At what time did you include ballooning?Did you do it independently of your edging routine, or you did after edging?Did you wait for some time before incorpotating it, lets say after you gained some control over your PF and arousal?By ballooning you mean rubbering and concentrating on some more sensitive parts of your penis, right ?Many questions, I know.

Early on (probably my first week) I got a recommendation to switch up my edging routine and to keep it flexible and change it up. Real sexual experiences are always a bit different, so the person suggested that I not get too set in one pattern. So, I really try to mix it up. Sometimes I start with ballooning with lube to get an erection. Then I edge with with a STU and lube. I usually go through a number of different positions (on back, standing, doggy, missionary). I play around with different speeds. Then, I may balloon right in the middle of an edging session. With each thing that I am doing, I try to focus on my breathing and doing RKs. Sometimes I go too far and have to stop. Mostly, I try to use the speed, breathing, and RKs to maintain a plateau. That’s what worked for me.

Sometimes things don’t work (both with edging and real sex). Usually it’s because I forget to breathe, I go too fast at the beginning, my RKs aren’t working because of pelvic floor tightness, or I get caught up in the arousal of the experience and don’t keep control.

This is extremely motivating for me. I’ve been more dedicated lately to PE but I need to focus on my Pre E. I so freaking relate to your story like I am you. I thought I have been making progress through RK but I want total control. I get to a point I’m like “ fuck it. I’m cumming”. I think I might start doing Hindi squat things and I’ve recently made a diy Fleshlight because I think I will get best practice with edging. My wife is pretty supportive of me too with PE and me lasting longer. I’ve felt such despair at times and I almost didn’t look forward to sex because I knew I would suck. Lol. I refuse to suck anymore. 🙂

Yeah, man, go for it. Make a progress thread in the PreE forum. There are a lot of experts and others fighting it there that are really supportive and helpful. I didn’t invent anything new. I just followed the handful of exercises that treat the main causes. I wasn’t sure what was the right course, so I just followed the stickies and had some hope it would work. I know that desperation you feel. It’s really amazing how that can be washed away.

So thanks to your post and your links i had yesterday my best edging session so far.

I dedicated the session only to fight IKs very very slow stroke speed, every time i feel a IK i counter it with an RK, this gave me lot of understanding whats goning on.
And i was not going over a 6-8 on arousal scale, if i feel i was going to high i just stopped in that position and dont move and only really deep breaths.

I hold during the whole session my PF with my hand to feel the IK, this worked well, otherwise i didnt feel it.
Then i feel something i didnt feel ever before, after the edging session while i cleaned up my stu i still have a boner i checked my PF and it was complete loose not flexed at all..i think i had this feeling never before, thats the state we want right?

Quick question about IKs i'd like to know if i understand it right: and IK is not only the IK when u flex all down there and the penis "jumps" its also an IK when u stroke and the PF is tighteing while strokeing - right? Sometime i hold and long IK and i didnt regognize it at all..
We have do always stay relaxed in the PF area?

I think having a loose pelvic floor while maintaining an erection is a good sign. If you can maintain a loose pelvic floor during sex and also while thrusting, then I believe you will see gains in stamina. I feel like there is another piece of the puzzle linked to mental arousal state. I don't know if that arousal piece is always connected to a tightening pelvic floor - or if it can be separate. Can you orgasm early with a loose pelvic floor and a high state of arousal?

Hmm, I'm not sure if both of those things are what is normally thought to be an IK. But, I definitely see your point. I have felt both of those things - the quick contraction of the pelvic floor muscles (maybe the BC) is what I would call a normal IK, and the slow build up of pelvic floor tightness over time. I agree that the last one can also happen involuntarily.

I'm sure people have learned to maintain stamina at higher levels of pelvic floor tightness. For me, I have been conservative and have tried to keep it very loose during sex. That has come at a cost of some EQ. I do think it's possible to be tighter, have a higher EQ, and still have stamina. It feels like it's an intermediate/advanced technique that I haven't achieved consistently yet.

The two specific things I did for missionary were: learned to thrust without tightening my pelvic floor and learned to be able to RK while in missionary. To thrust without tightening my pelvic floor, I just played around with how I moved my body, where my weight was distributed, where my arms and knees were located. Try even lying on your side - you can thrust your hips and clench your entire pelvic floor (bad for preE), or you can do a rocking motion and thrust your hips by using muscles not in your pelvic floor. That helped me a lot.

To RK in missionary, I got the advice to play around with my hip rotation. I found that if I rotated my hips so that my lower back flattened (I had to rotate my pelvis in the posterior direction), then my pelvic floor was loose and I could reverse kegel. If I had a dip in my back (anterior pelvic tilt), my pelvic floor was tight and I could not RK.

Those were the specific things. The others helped as well (breathing, edging, ballooning, etc).

At the beginning, in missionary I could barely get in before I ejaculated. Now, most nights I can go as long as my partner wants. I still have some nights (maybe once a month or once every two months) were I go quickly. Usually, that’s because I didn’t do my stretches or I let my arousal ramp up to quickly during foreplay.

So great to hear your success Will! I've being making a lot of progress solo but unfortunately can't try it for real yet, I can relax my floor pretty well and breathing helps, but I want to up the tempo to simulate hard sex but it always sends me over the edge, must be what triggers my ponr as thats what used to get me off in my porn days.

Also another theory, when my eq is at 9 or 10 it pretty much goes straight up, then if I try missionary or doggy it is being pressured down to get in the position, and I get the highest state of arousal when that downwards pressure is applied, did you have trouble with that?

Glad to hear you’re making progress.

I had the most problems with positions where I had to tighten my pelvic and core muscles to hold my body in the right position and thrust. I also had the most intense feeling when there was more pressure on my frenulum. So, maybe that’s when it is being pushed upwards?

When you are going at a fast rate, are you tightening your pelvic floor more or do you think it’s mostly the speed that is causing more stimulation itself? For me, the ability to go fast happened once I learned to thrust without tightening my pelvic floor muscles, and ballooning got me more used to stimulation on the tip.

Hopefully over time of doing PE my ligaments might loosen out a bit and my erection can straighten out a bit, it can even be a bit tricky trying to enter sometimes because its so straight up haha.

I did notice my pelvic floor tighten with increased speed and simulation so have been watching that, but the increased speed and the sound of hard sex greatly increases my arousal levels over the edge.

Holy sh*t! I thought I had seen every thread on PreE and then I read this! What a great story, great motivation for all of us and I just want to bump this thread for everybody to see. You are obviously very knowledgeable on this subject and I'm so glad we've you around here.

Now I'm also curious. In this post you describe you are still using alot of techniques during sex to keep you PreE in check. By now, do you still need to do this? I'm dreaming of a day that I never even have to think about PreE again during sex. Just wondering if that day could ever come.

can you elaborate on the involuntary kegels. is it true that when the glans is stimulated you can’t eliminate them completely as it’s reflex?
