Hello all,
I just started the beginners program a couple of days ago and have some questions. First, when stretching I know it says to grasp under the glans (which is the head if I'm mistaken). Is it supposed to hurt, because I feel like when I do it that a lesser grip seems to stretch better than when gripping below the glans. when gripping below the glans it is quite uncomfortable. Any suggestions as to how to make this better? Also, is the stretching more
of a warmup or is the lengthening aspect of PE. I am really
not in a hurry or anything, just wondering. Any help would be appreciated!

You really shouldn't be experiencing any discomfort from the stretching. Try to grasp a bit farther down your shaft (inch below the glans) and see if that makes things more comfortable. No, stretching is not supposed to be used as a warmup, it is a length based exercise. You should adequately warm up (7-10 minutes) before doing any type of exercises...stretching included. Try that new hand position for your stretches and report back here when you can.
