I have a history of about 4 years of mainly jelqing until recently starting bathmate, with no real issues besides pelvic tension, until this new injury.
About 5 months into the basic Bathmate routine, I was in the middle of a session, at a high but comfortable pressure while 80-90% erect when I felt the tearing sensation right below the coronal glans on the upper side of the penis; close to the location of the dorsal vein. It wasn't very painful but concerning due to the feeling of something shifting.
I removed the bathmate and quickly lost the erection and couldn’t get it back even with porn. There were never any visible signs of damage - no bruising or swelling, but there was discomfort in the same spot and erection difficulties for the next couple weeks.
The following morning, I was surprised to have a normal morning erections upon waking, but was unable to give myself a full erection even when watching porn. I'm guessing the act of touching that area was discouraging the erection. The ache would come and go at random for the next month or so, and it became increasingly easier to give myself erections over a couple months. The only reason I’m still concerned 3 months later is that I still have a dull ache in that area with more than 10 minutes of masturbation, and if I ejaculate, the ache persist for longer, usually for the rest of the day.
At this time I'd just be happy to know what I might've done to the area right below the coronal ridge, on the upper side. Fascia tear or nerve damage? Agitation of existing scar tissue? I felt the bathmate was a pretty safe endeavor but now I'm hesitant to return.
