I have a history of about 4 years of mainly jelqing until recently starting bathmate, with no real issues besides pelvic tension, until this new injury.

About 5 months into the basic Bathmate routine, I was in the middle of a session, at a high but comfortable pressure while 80-90% erect when I felt the tearing sensation right below the coronal glans on the upper side of the penis; close to the location of the dorsal vein. It wasn't very painful but concerning due to the feeling of something shifting.

I removed the bathmate and quickly lost the erection and couldn’t get it back even with porn. There were never any visible signs of damage - no bruising or swelling, but there was discomfort in the same spot and erection difficulties for the next couple weeks.

The following morning, I was surprised to have a normal morning erections upon waking, but was unable to give myself a full erection even when watching porn. I'm guessing the act of touching that area was discouraging the erection. The ache would come and go at random for the next month or so, and it became increasingly easier to give myself erections over a couple months. The only reason I’m still concerned 3 months later is that I still have a dull ache in that area with more than 10 minutes of masturbation, and if I ejaculate, the ache persist for longer, usually for the rest of the day.

At this time I'd just be happy to know what I might've done to the area right below the coronal ridge, on the upper side. Fascia tear or nerve damage? Agitation of existing scar tissue? I felt the bathmate was a pretty safe endeavor but now I'm hesitant to return.

I also have similar injury in same area. I felt mine as if it were a tear around there. The pain comes and goes too and it has been a month now that I injured myself. I was using the phallon forte and bath mate but then stopped using the bath mate after a week because I didn’t want to combine both and wasn’t recommended to do so. This could have also potentially lead to the same injury as you.

So whenever I leave it alone I don’t feel it as much. It only becomes painful when I touch it or have sex, or have oral. It was very difficult not to do any sexual activity but I was able to not do anything for around three weeks.

As I thought i was getting better I ended up massaging the area tonight and it ended up hurting once again. From this point I think I have a tear because it’s trying to heal and I am just destroying the tissue when I touch it.

I had a similar pain from being erect and kinda falling it went to the side and I felt a sharp pain. I took a couple days off and the pain went completely away after a week or 2.

I have a similar injury. The dull ache has remained for a very long time. Has anyone had any luck speaking to a urologist or some kind of surgeon?

Any device can be dangerous if one is overzealous.

Sounds like your recovering. If you use the bathmate in your routine, start slowly and take time to work back into your routine
