hi there Im 43 years old have been with my wife for 12 years now and have suffered ed pretty much the whole time we have been together. When younger was not as bad the last 3 years been a regular user of viagra or cialis.
Past 12 months been really tough time with ed medication sometimes not having any effect at all.
I am in new zealand and feel local doctors not willing to look to in depth into possible causes/reasons very willing to give you a script for viagra and get you out the door.
Is taking a toll mentally I do try to be positive but sh*t it can mess with your head.
Went to one doctor and he gave me a script for anti depressants which i promptly threw into rubbish bin when I got home.
Tried another doctor at same place he told me that my dick would not have worked at all if I had of taken the anti depressants (had my testosterone checked at same time was borderline low)
That doctor put me on reandron having an injection every 6 weeks felt good after first 2-3 injections(really noticed an improved mood)(total of approx. 5 injections)
He stopped giving me reandron after consulting a different specialist to the first one who advised to give it to me.
From what i read online he should have tested my testosterone levels to figure out how many weeks in between shots to maintain an optimum level.
I got my testosterone checked a week after my last injection it was sky high(injection end of january)
Doctor told me to come back in 6 months time to reassess situation.
Any advice has to what tests i should ask for as I feel my situation is caused by low testosterone and i do have concerns as to what possibly is going on with cardiovascular system as my cholesterol has tracked upwards in last 2yrs (doctor not to concerned)
I exercise 2-3 times a week doing weights etc eat reasonably healthy drink at a low level maybe 6 to 10 beers spread over week sometimes no alcohol at all.
Any suggestions as I am finding this pretty tough and while my relationship with my wife is strong its the elephant in the room that never leaves.

You say "suffered ed pretty much the whole time"
Does that mean sometimes you can get it up?
Best bet is to start with the Stickies and see what you can see.

Hi When you had your blood test how was your cholesterol levels was your LDL high, if your LDL was high this produces plaque, and this bloods small blood vessels and clogs others up, and if you have had that for a long time it could be what's behind your problem.

In the exercise and health forum your find NOWHARDS MIX, its something I put together when I had ED yes its something I takes most days to keep my pecker going upwards, get lots of good morning woods along with nocturnal erections, both of those I gave years before I had ED.

Lets just say its a starting point for you, do the 12 week trail and see how it goes and PM me anytime you want.
