EQ wasn’t great again. Max 138
So I’m noticing a ton of fatigue lately and I’ve been sleeping, resting, and cardio is improving steadily at the gym so I’m not sure what’s going on but definitely seeing a drop in performance.
I think the stretch to 139 and 140 caused rebounds and undesired bad affects. Basically think it was too much of a stretch from normal girth.
I think I’m going to take 2-3 days completely off and I’m going to get back to this 2-5% strain idea.
Basically do shorter sessions and count time in the strained condition within that range and trying never to go past it.
I’ll measure at the start of the session at 90% ish
So if it’s 131 then I’ll be looking for
- 134 - 2.2%
- 135 - 3.0%
- 136 - 3.8%
- 137 - 4.5%

So target range is probably 135-137.
And if this is an accurate theory for me then it makes sense why pushing for 139-140 is making my PIs and sessions worse. Too much strain.
Going to keep duration down to around 10 minutes to start. Maybe do some randomness, light and heavy day (2-3%, 3-4%). But we will see
