Ideal Decondition Timeframe

I know this question is somewhat beating a dead horse, but wanted to ask it anyways.

I've now taken roughly a month off from PE. Is that enough time to benefit from having deconditioned? I was hanging around 7lbs and using an ADS daily for the entirety of winter.

Typically, you'll want to take one or two 2+ week "Decon" breaks a year.

Much will depend on how you ended the cycle and what you're doing during that time off. If the cycle was rough to recover from and you feel mentally worn out from tracking, measuring, etc.; then a month should be sufficient.

If you're very sexually active during your time off you can further extend the decon, as you'll be informally performing some type of training and conditioning via the sex.

4-6 weeks has worked for me. I didn’t stop warm ups or manuals during the break, just hanging and stretching.

I’ve done this several times over 4 years and it’s always helped me bust through plateaus.
