To the experts here... I had a quick question

I've been reading most of the beginner posts and most of the injuries seem to come from the grip being too tight. How can you tell if it's too tight? I guess I want the jelqing to be effective, but I just want to be sure I don't get injured. Thanks in advance!

It does not take much force to make an effective jelq. Best to start out with a feather lite grip. To compinsate forthe lack of tension jelq slower.

Thanks for the advice everyone. That makes sense Kingpole, I guess it is better safe than sorry since I'm new to this.
