Finding it hard to get and maintain a 40% erection during jelqing consistently

Yup, as the title says.

What do you guys do? I have been jelqing flacid the past month or so, and usually due to the blood flow I will get maybe 10-20% erect. However, reading I should be around 40% last night I tried it today and jeeze it's tough. I have to mentally try my hardest and basically jack off a soft dick trying to fantasize for a few minutes just to get it up there to half hard, and then it's good for like 30-40 jelqs and it goes back down to 10-20% again.

Blown away that guys can do this for 200+ jelqs! Even some guys with 400-600 jelq routines!!

Any suggestions? If jelqing 10-20% erect is almost a complete waste I may have to just quit and look for other methods :(

I have the same problem. And I never understood how kegeling helps maintain an erection, or how some guys can 'kegel blood into their penis.' When I kegel, I am working my skeletal PC muscle, which results in more blood flow to the PC and potentially less blood available going to the CCs.

Sounds to me your PC muscle needs building, but don't forget about your RK in the process!

What is RK? CCS?

I've been working on kegels going on 7 weeks now, getting progressively better at them doing 50 sets of 10 seconds or 20 sets of 20 seconds. Can do them for a 1 minute straight a piece with concentration.

I suppose I'll have to google it, but how the heck do you kegel yourself an erection?
Did my stretches this morning and totally ditched the jelq's, this information has extremely de-motivated me in that area. I felt I was making progress jelqing with a soft dick. Now I'm just waiting for my bathmate to show up, will probably stretch, use bathmate and then kegel afterwards as a routine now until I figure out this erection thing :(

If I kegel long and hard enough without stimulation I will indeed end up with an erection. If I kegel with stimulation, I will end up with an erection faster as opposed to not kegeling during stimulation. The PC Muscle plays a big role in penis health.

A reverse kegel(RK) is that push that you do in order to pass urine, or make your urine stream more bold. I like to do these because well, they balance out the pelvic floor and help prevent premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is caused when the PC Muscle(kegel) spasms involuntarily, among arousal levels. When you hold a kegel flex too long during stimulation and/or sex, or your kegel spams involuntarily, it squeezes the prostate causing one to ejaculate rather fast. Hitting a RK in fact relaxes your PC Muscle, and pushes away the PONR(point of no return). This is good to know because strengthening just your PC Muscle alone may indeed give you stronger and better erection quality(EQ), but it will also give you Premature Ejaculation if you don't incorporate strengthening your RK in the process, while keeping them both balanced. Edging/Ballooning also helps with EQ, and so does Jelqing. I work my kegels and RK's when I'm in a flaccid state, but I mostly work them hard when I Edge/Balloon(I'm rather experienced, so go easy at first). Be sure to take rest days with your kegel and RK exercises! So work them every other day.

Yup I'm with ya. Kegeling, especially a sustained kegel just makes my penis go soft. I have a PC mucsles (cause I kegel 3-4 times a week). However, I have no clue to what guys are talking about that kegelling can increase EQ. If anything, RK helps push a lot more blood into my dick than a K.

Here is the trick to jelqing (and I have had great success with girth gains). It works best if you have a 50%+ erection when jelqing. How do you maintain it? Not sure, haven't figured it out yet. I my penis is slowly learning, and I can maintain the erection longer than I used to. By the way, if I can get 30 good jelqs and then have to jerk-it a bit and get another good 20 jelqs - there is no shame in that! I think over time you and your penis will work it out. Don't give up. FYI, DO NOT watch porn while doing your PE. Porn will fuck up your mind and eventually give you ED.

I dunno, some dudes here?

I got back to a semi flacid jelq sesh this morning, felt great! 200 nice ones, at times more blood and less soft than others.

Will not give up that's for sure. I wonder if jelqing flacid hurts EQ though? I don't get random erections like I used to, or morning wood hardly ever.

I am 26, and I did quit porn 3 months ago so I suspect some combination of stress, minor depression and the rebalancing period of porn recovery might be playing a factor. Damn well determined now, so nothing's getting in my way of doing what I want to do :)
