dreams of masturbating to porn...wtf

umm yeah so ive been abstaining from porn for the past 6 days now and the last night i kept dreaming about masturbating to porn. is this normal when quitting watching porn? this has happened to me every time i quit and get to about this time. first time i got to 6 days. i just feel way better. after about 4 months of trying to quit i can safely say im done with it. no urges at all. its like it porn doest exist. but back on topic what should i do about these dreams. there freaking me out i want a wet dream in which im have sex in not me watching fucking porn. excuse my language. anyone else experience this? what should i do?

do you have any woman who you are keen on or pursuing currently?
if your sexuality is more related to porn at this point in time it is natural that in a sex dream that is how it will be acted out .. it also sounds like you are going through porn addiction withdrawal ..your cravings are coming through subconsciously while you sleep

umm i was hooked on porn at 15 and im quitting now at 19. umm i have only had sex twice in that period. but i just met someone that i will be starting a relationship with i think lol hopefully. so the fact that i only had sex twice could be the reason. so maybe with more time it will go away??

Dreams are sometimes the mind processing anxiety .. if you have an addiction to porn and are going through withdrawal ..your mind is processing it .. you had a sex dream unfortunately i think at this point you relate sex more to porn then real woman .. It should subside with time esp if you have a new relationship starting .. the dream could also be caused by anxiety you have about the intimate parts of the potential relationship..do you think thats possible?

i don't think i have any anxiety what so ever. i mean i don't feel like i do. maybe its subconscious. but i was doing some searing on google and i found other people having the same problem. also they are all people who have recently stopped watching porn. i mean i just want to quit so bad im like forget it. i have quit a few things cold turkey such as cigs. i find that porn was especially hard. i think i only watched porn because it was instant gratification and i thought it was fine. i don't have problems with woman or any fear of rejection or anything like that. i guess ill just rub one out after i edge today and fantasize about woman i know in the real world. i figure if i rub one out my mind wont be thinking about it when i sleep, right?

focusing your mind and imagination onto visualizing and fantasizing about woman in the real world should help..rubbing one out should help.. but you can't control your mind when you are sleeping. at the moment not doing the porn is an agitation and on some level there is anxiety about it, because its a habit that you are breaking and it was something you did to get a high and reduce stress... it should subside as your body and mind adjust to the situation
