Let us use a metaphor. Two devices have to lock together. They can’t be made perfectly according to a drawing down to the atom, so we give some clearance, some wiggle room, for parts that need to freely connect and disconnect. Perhaps we can talk about a simple lock and key.

Both have a goal, and they have a goal together.
Primary vaginal purposes:
Connect an orifice to a place in the body where a fetus can be nurtured and grown into a baby without excessive complication in birth.
Do so while preventing infection that will kill mother and offspring.

Penile purposes:
Get put in everything.
Get into the right thing.
Get semen to the egg.
Do so while not becoming a health hazard, because the user is an idiot.

Vaginas have mucous membranes and elasticity so that it can stay closed off as often as possible so that only penile filth gets inside.

Penises get hard, and then shrink to be laughably small. Also, shrinking helps unstick them from places they were jammed into. They also are long enough when erect that, with the ejection mechanism, virtually every man can get the swimmers to the AO.

Of course, we are all worried about a certain secondary function: produce a certain set responses in the female.

Everyone’s worried about the interfacial issues, wondering if there is properly dimensioned and whether these dimensions may be adjusted.

Well, thanks to untold millions of hours of men doing what they do best (tugging on their units), we ow know that with enough time, patience, and discipline, our greatest bodily hazards can be made even bigger. May we never forget to thank those who came before us.

Now, many scientist have taken measurements of erect penises in the oh-so-arousing atmosphere of a lab or doctor’s office to give us these many sets of data. Also, a bunch of studies have been done with varying numbers of liars to determine what the statistics are on men’s parts of the interface.

Different people cite different sources, but the range is 5.2-6 inches in length, with 5.5 being both the average of the many sets and the tendency of larger data sets. Therefore, we will disregard anything more accurate than the 0.1-inch decimal place due to measurement error and erection variance and call 5.5 average, and for the sake of ease I will use the Herbenick et al, 2013 study used by the glorious nerd who made the Super Complicated Dick Size Percentile Calculator, which has the average at 5.57 inches and the circumference at 4.8 inches.

Let’s focus solely on length to cover the issue of going sufficiently deep.
Herbenick, et al found that the mean in 14.15 cm (5.57 inches) with a standard deviation of 2.23 cm (0.877 inches). Using the 68, 95, 99.7 rule of Gaussian distributions, 68 percent are 6.61 or shorter, 95 percent are 7.66 inches are shorter, and 99.7 percent are 8.7 or shorter. This is a decent fit for the data.

Now, let’s consider effective length, or “inserted length” as is the term used for dildos.
Not all of that bone-pressed glory makes it. Some of it bridges the gap. In my experience, this is typically two inches worth, depending on the position.

Therefore, we will handwavingly say that the effective length of a penis is its length minus two inches. Max effective length will be its length minus one inch, which is about what is left outside in the positions that get it in deepest.

Therefore, the average penis gets 3.5-4.5 inches into the vaginal cavity (this does not include lipspace, as that is considered part of the gap).

The guys one standard deviation below can get 2.6-3.6 in, and the nine-inch unicorns that make up 0.3% of us are typically getting seven inches in, because few can take eight comfortably. Now, hold on a bit and let me get there.

There have been some studies on vagina size too. According to Pendergass et al., white girls (I don’t know why only whites either) are 2.7 to 5.84 inches deep and 1.88 to 2.48 inches wide, with the introital (entrance) diameters being between 0.94 and 2.53 inches. Now, I don’t know the test for the introital diameters, but the other two dimensions were taken from castings. Somehow the casting got back out. O.0 Idunno, gents. However, it seems that some of these girls are tight at 4 inches of entrance girth, while some can handle soda cans.

In any case, Masters and Jonson found the depth to be 2.8-3.1 inches while unstimulated, and between 4.3 and 4.7 when aroused. I can tell you for sure that an aroused vagina can certainly get shorter than three inches, because it constricts to find stimulation. If you give it a finger, it will try to touch it.

Anyways, we can also tell from porn that some women can take all of those 8 inch dildos, and sometimes all of a penis known to be nine inches. However, how much can they get in there? About 8. They “may” get 8.5” out of 9” if the guy is skinny, the girl doesn’t have thick lips, and they really smash things together. However, those girls with dildos of known size are good markers. I haven’t seen any stuff more than 8 into themselves, so I’m sure that an eight-inch vagina is practically as common as a nine-inch penis.

Most vaginas are about as deep as the “max effective length” of the average penis.

Wow.

Almost like

A) Some smart being designed it
or
B) Evolution works

Unf---ingbelievable! It’s almost like most of us don’t have to worry!

Now, preference comes in. Yeah, yeah. Why is it so uncommon to consider the girls who are smaller or just don’t like deep penetration, a big radial stretch (girth), or either? Members, chime in with any girls you’ve had who wished you were smaller one way or the other. I was once called “thick like a sausage” with a bad intonation. Also, a girl who was all like, “Are you gonna seduce me? Do you have a big dick? (I wrote back about my 7.25-turned-6.75, saying I have standard issue gear, so if that’s good enough for her she can have it)” was the kind to be pleased by girth (I could tell) and clitoral stimulation, and she was cavernous inside, yet I went too deep once – with 6.75”x5.1”. So, girls are stupid about some things sometimes – so are we.

Back to the fitting, I got 5.75x5.1 into what was probably 5.75-6.25 (depending on angle of attack) deep and a smooth, unrestricted fit at the entrance to what was probably that 2.5 inch cavern mentioned before. However, she could reel all of that in with a kegel. Mmmmmhm. Vaginas are smooth muscle and, if trained, can do cool stuff, like create a more formed fit.

That is me, who was then about 1.1 standard deviations, or about 70th percentile in length, getting into a 3 standard deviation girl and making stuff happen. Now, maybe someone a deviation low wouldn’t have done it for her at all. I will admit that. However, let’s go over how quickly that can change.

You, the viewer, have access to all kinds of logs that can give you rates of growth, and there are newbie gains to be grabbed. Remember, a standard deviation is only 0.877 inches – honestly a lot, considering the many variables here, it makes more of a difference positively than negatively.

As mentioned before, I had lost some length. It was probably a host of things – diet, stress, sexual patterns, hydration, lack of exercise of all sorts. Well, I started PE-ing for a while, and here’s my growth.

10/10/2015
7.125

That’s six months for 5/8,” and I wasn’t too disciplined. I didn’t have a set routine. I honestly half-assed it. I tried to maintain cardio, but failed and also didn’t lift. I was also bouncing between depressed and happy (hard time taking a breakup with the cavernous girl I eventually realized was/is simply a sociopath vs joy of learning about God *makes hand motions as if weighing two things against each other with a shrug*).

So, what’s 5/8” to a woman? Well, it’s bigger than the measured variance of 0.4 inches in length of the stimulated state. It means that anyone who comes in at the bottom of that range moves to the top.

Also, not all of that length is in the hot spot for pleasure. You all have heard that it’s within the first two-to-three inches where all the nerves are. Well, the reason the rest hasn’t many nerve endings is to reduce the pain involved in child birth. That would also explain why some are ballooned out – this makes it take less expansion for the vagina to let a child out. Of course, there is the A-spot, which is up at the top. However, where is the top? 4.3 inches in? 4.7 inches in? 4? 5? 7? It all depends. I’m sure that it’s within 6” for most, and even so, many women don’t like the feeling. I’ve felt a cervix run away! It would have been funny if it wasn’t just outside my reach. Sometimes, it will stick around within a finger’s reach, and sometimes it will be in a place that has to be reached with a creative angle. It’s too bad we can’t see what’s going on sometimes. And that’s the thing – margin for error depending on the woman and her level of stimulation. However, we should go by the norm and simply accept that sometimes parts are out of spec (after all, if guys can be too small, why are women never said to be too big?).

So, let’s recap on length.

The average man is 5.5 inches long and can get 4.5 inches into a woman, and most of them are between 4 and 5 inches deep. The G-spot is in the first three inches, so any man 4 inches or longer can reach it for every woman.
The small women are 4 inches deep, so the average man can bottom her out, and so can some of the smaller guys.

The deeper women may be able to take all but the biggest guys, but they may not even like how it feels to be deeply penetrated. After all, once the first section (2-4 inches) is passed, there is nothing but the A spot and cervix, which may be painful. Most men can hit all of her nerve-dense spots, with the main issue being girth and the resulting pressure on the walls (and I am not going to wander far into that mess).

Guys 7 inches and longer can bottom out most women or get close. Remember also that they change size by stimulation and can chase stimulus, so really it’s more about minimum aroused size, which is probably close to what Masters and Johnson measured (under 5 inches).

Guys 4 inches and longer can get by. Guys over 6 are generally in the clear.

Also, like the calculator, it’s complicated. However:

All of you can make your penises longer and wider.

All of you can do better to prepare women in their minds.

Unless your female partner is huge, picky, or a liar who is trying to hurt you, you most likely are doing just fine. Your dicks are specifically designed for the job. And the job with your hand. And the paper towel roll. And the mattress. Get it together, men.

The standard deviation here seems large can you link the study.

Had a look at the study which is self reported from guys wanting custom fit condom , which one would think would increase outliers participating . I could make more critic but the data is similar to other studies for length and girth .
Interestingly sd is not as consistent as size across studies so anything between half an inch and a full inch is fairly mainstream.

The thing about the SD is that the sample was assumed to be a Gaussian, yet it isn't. It's skewed, and actually the rarity of both large and small penises decrease faster than the model. The idea with all of this is to be conservative and detailed, and then say look, calm your nerves. That's one of the things about custom condom fit - why would a joe need anything other than what's on the rack? The hungfun set looks much more representative of reality.

But yeah, SD changes a lot more than the averages do, which I find interesting. I saw once where someone decided to use a small study as proof that the average may be as high as 6.7 inches or something like that. Get that crap outta here. Consider other studies and think for a second.

Yup! However, sometimes engineers will say that something in a complicated equation varies between 0.1 and 10, but is typically more like 0.5 to 5, so it's just 1 and we can start dropping multiplied terms.

Remember to add the female factor into your equation- the vaginal muscles can be worked (via kegels and the like) to the point to where even relatively small penises (or fingers, etc.) can elicit a pleasurable response.

Yes there seemed some real outliers in the Herbenick study. The standard dev looks to be far more variable just in general across studies . In some cases this is from using nbpel measure or self reported measure in this case the custom condom thing comes into it . In any case I have used ,75" for length and .5" for girth previously but really who knows.

Darn, totally meant to hit on the other side of the equation. Cavern girl could squeeze it tight due to ben wa ball practice. I was amazed to the point of childlike joyous impression akin to that experienced during a magic trick. Vaginas are pretty awesome!

Yeah, the variance in measurement would definitely contribute to SD, and thanks for the link! :)
