Among elderly adults, consumption of tuna or other broiled or baked fish, but not fried fish or fish sandwiches, is associated with lower incidence of AF. Fish intake may influence risk of this common cardiac arrhythmia.
What is interesting here is that fish oil does . The reason is unknown why fish doesn't have this issue and fish oil does is unknown . My personal theory ( with no real evidence btw ) is that fish oil is commonly rancid which doesn't seem to affect most of it's positive qualities but now this pops up hmm .
