    Long time PEGym lurker, first time posting. Ive been doing PE for almost two years resulting in some satisfying length gains and some modest girth gains. Ive learned a ton from this forum so I figured I might as well contribute something back.

    Starting (6/19 Estimated. Didnt keep a log when I started.)
    BPEL: 6.5
    BEG: 4.75
    MEG: 4.5

    Current (4/1/21 -- Baseline values after a short break from PE.)
    BPEL: 7.625
    BEG: 5.25
    MEG: 4.75

    BPEL: 8
    MEG: 5.5
    Other: Reduce discoloration

    Ive taken a break from PE since 3/26 to fully heal and get realistic, baseline measurements. Im planning to start the following routine on Monday 4/5.

    Core Routine (M, Tu, Th, F)
    • Warm up with a rice sock for 5-10 minutes.
    • Stretch for 5 minutes. Basic stretches, slow crank, and/or fulcrum.
    • Light jelqs and stimulation for 2-5 minutes to loosen up for heavier exercises.
    • Firegoat Rolls for 1-2 minutes.
    • 1-2 sets of the following:
      • Squeezes with Kegels for 5 minutes. Uli, Big Al Squeeze, Slinky Bend, etc.
      • Firegoat Rolls for 1-2 minutes.
      • Clamp and Kegel for 5 minutes.
      • Firegoat Rolls for 1-2 minutes.

    • Warm down with a rice sock for 5 minutes.

    Bathmate Routine (every day, usually a couple hours after the core routine)
    • Bathmate for 10-20 minutes in the shower
    • Firegoat Rolls for 1-2 minutes.
    • Basic stretches for 5 minutes.
    • Wear a lightly constricting cock ring for 2-4 hours.

    Passive Exercises (schedule varies)
    • Kegels and reverse Kegels
    • Sitting on a tennis ball to stretch pelvic floor muscles
    • Tuck and sit stretch (aka Lazy ass stretch)

    The goal of this routine is to stretch the tunica and keep it in a flexible state (hence the daily Bathmate routine) while putting the smooth muscle through an alternating exercise/rest cycle with the intention of allowing it to grow and fill up the expanded tunica. This is just my personal theory; well see if it actually works. Oh, and my past PE work has turned my member a few shades darker than Id like so Im hoping the Firegoat Rolls will help with that (or at least prevent it from getting worse).

    One of my past mistakes has been overexercising, so my most immediate concern is that I may be depriving the smooth muscle of the rest it needs by subjecting it to daily Bathmate use. Ill be keeping an eye on physiological indicators (PIs), especially erection quality (EQ) and soreness. I should probably also plan for a full week of rest every 6-8 weeks.

    Lastly, I intend to do my PE routines without porn. Ive been abstaining from porn entirely since 3/26 so I might as well keep that going for at least a few more weeks. I think my brain needs a detox.

    Hey Numbersix!

    Welcome to the Gym. Your posted routine seems appropriate to me. However, as a new member It would be a good idea to click on the Start Here button at the top left of the page. Lots of good information on what the Gym is all about, including best practices and safety tips.

    Remember to Jelq with an erection level between 40 and 70%. Do not grip too tight, just enough to feel blood moving up the shaft . When stretching, grab your shaft about one inch below the glans and do not pull too hard, just enough to feel a slight stretch. Let your PIs be your guide as to how hard to do your exercise.

    Don’t forget to take good starting measurements and photos so you have a solid base to compare your gains to.

    PE safely and good luck with your endeavors .

      Hey not2big, your advice is spot on. It's taken me a while to learn that when it comes to PE, sometimes less is more. I tend to do PE too hard and too much, which has probably limited my gains and contributed to the discoloration. Fortunately, my mistakes haven't led to any serious issues.

      But hey, now I've got a plan, a place to track my progress, and a community to help keep me on track.

        For day one, I erred on the side of shorter/fewer sets for my core routine and Bathmate. Still, definitely some spots and an overall darker shade. I might need to back off a bit and ease into this new routine. A couple weeks ago, this would've been no problem but after 10 days off, I'm not conditioned for it.

        After a long time of using porn during my PE routine, it's definitely different not having it there. Not a problems so far. We'll see how long I can keep it up (pun intended).

          Still some spotting from yesterday but I woke up with morning wood and figured that positive PI was my go-ahead for today. I minimized the squeeze/clamp part of the routine again but went for 20 minutes in the Bathmate, stretched after that and wore the cock ring for a bit.

          It's definitely a bit thicker this evening but that's probably the lingering effects of the Bathmate and a bit of edema. I think the squeezes and clamping are the main cause of the spotting I'm seeing so tomorrow's break from the core routine should help with that.

          I've been Kegeling and sitting on a tennis ball the last few days but haven't found a convenient time to do the tuck and sit stretch yet. I definitely want to work that one in sometime because I'd credit it as the cause of at least some of my past length gains. Although length isn't my main goal right now, I wouldn't mind hitting that magic 8" BPEL, or maybe exceeding it by .5".

            Slight change in the schedule. I'll skip the core routine today and just do a quick pump with the Bathmate later just to keep things loose. I've also had a chance to do a few tuck and sit stretches.

            Not only is the little guy a bit fatigued from returning to PE in general, but yesterday I got the J&J vaccine and I'm still recovering from it. I got the shot around 1pm and felt fine, then 8pm my energy dipped and by 10pm I had chills and aches. Feeling better today but it's like I've got a bad hangover. So it seems like a good day to dial it back.

            Haven't watched any porn in almost two weeks now. When I'm watching on a regular basis, I think my brain is aware that it's going to get that dopamine hit and it sorta fixates on it and anticipates it. If my brain were a computer, it'd be similar to a process running in the background, eating up system resources. Without porn, I feel like I'm getting something back, maybe even improving my focus a little.

              That's a very interesting way of putting it. I have noticed that with other substances/foods/behaviors and also PMO at some times in my life too. Like part of my brain obsessing about that next fix. But never saw it said that way. Very interesting.

              I wanted to ask you what you did for your length gains? Your routine looks more focused on girth now, did you do something before then to get the length gain?

                Yeah, I've been thinking of porn the same way I think of junk food. One other big similarity is that your body develops a tolerance and you need more and more of it to get that same hit of dopamine. When I'm on a roll with junk food, I find myself eating more and more of it. Similarly, if I'm watching porn daily, my tastes gradually get more hardcore as I develop a tolerance for the stimulation.

                Fortunately, you can reset your brain if you just go cold turkey for a while. I went cold turkey on porn for almost three months a year or two ago and it was pretty great. This might sound weird, but it was as if a degree of eroticism was injected back into everyday life. I felt charged up with energy, not like I wanted to have sex with everything that moved, but... I don't know, it's hard to explain. Anyways, it was awesome and I'd like to get there again.

                I made most of my length gains in the first 6 months of PE but unfortunately I didn't keep a log for that period. That was when I was mostly doing basic stretches and jelqs; nothing advanced, no devices. The one notable thing I was doing then that I think made a significant difference was the tuck and sit stretch (aka "lazy ass" stretch) where you just pull your dick back between your legs, moving your balls to the side, and sit on it to hold it in that stretched position. I noticed that after doing that consistently for a while, it seemed to stretch out the ligament on the top of my dick so that my erections hung lower but were overall longer. That ligament seemed to be my main bottleneck, so stretching it allowed a good chunk of inner penis to emerge. Your mileage may vary, but that stretch is one of my favorites, and I've gone back to it recently.

                  Today I gave it the full routine and for the first time since starting, there's no spotting after the squeezes and clamps (and the overall color looks fine too). The next couple days are pumping only, then back to the full routine on Monday.

                  The next time I start up after taking a week off, maybe I'll just jelq for a couple days to loosen up before diving into squeezing and clamping. Otherwise, I'm pretty comfortable with the current routine.

                    Good PI's, feeling ready for another week. Full routine, including 2 sets of 5 minute squeezes and 5 minute clamps. I felt tempted to do more but kept myself in check. When I get going with a PE routine, I tend to get overconfident and overexercise, skip rest days, etc. Not this time.

                    20 minute pump after my workout. I've been skipping the post-pump cock ring lately. Sure, it feels great to keep it nice and thick for a little longer but I think I'm trapping more edema than blood after the first few minutes. As I understand it, edema is on the outside of the tunica so it's not providing a productive stretch. If anything, I'd think edema creates an inward pressure on the tunica so I'll skip the post-pump cock ring for now. That said, I've used a cock ring overnight and noticed a little extra heft in the morning, so I could see myself going back to that at some point.

                      It's a rest day but I figured I'd share a quick thought or two.

                      I've been working in more tuck and sit stretches. I could be wrong, but I feel like it's hard to overdo it with these as long as I keep it at low intensity. I aim for a stretch that I can feel, but which is comfortable enough to sustain and ignore while I'm focusing on something else. I think of it like having my dick in an extender. In fact, I've considered an extender before but it seems unnecessary since I've gotten a lot of mileage out of this stretch.

                      I used to worry about the sit and tuck stretch because it compresses the tissue, which I thought might work against girth gains. In fact, I've tried various approaches to avoiding compression and maintaining expansion: avoiding the tuck and sit, going commando, wearing a cock ring almost 24/7, (air) pumping intermittently throughout the day. But in my experience, these have had little impact.

                      In a sense, I thought that maybe if I could get it big by pumping and keep it big with the aforementioned techniques, maybe just maybe it would retain some of that size eventually. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work like that (for me). I do believe that pumping provides the benefit of stretching the tunica, which is especially important for me to do on a regular basis because I think I'm one of those 3-layer tunica guys. Mine tends to tighten up with even a couple days of rest. However, the real work comes from stressing and resting the smooth muscle so that it can grow and fill in that now-stretched tunica.

                      Anyways, that's my current approach. We'll see if it bears any fruit.

                        Thanks. That's interesting about the tuck and sit. I think I passed on that because I wasn't long enough to get a solid seat on it! Maybe it would reach now that I gained some BPFSL.

                        I had that experience with the porn recently. I hadn't had a day off jelqing/edging in the past 5-6 days and was getting bored with the more basic stuff already. I don't really like that when that happens though, it's like I try out different things to get "excited" and sometimes I don't feel as good about watching those things. So definitely a good reason to take a day off that more often. How do you manage jelqing and edging without porn? It does seem like the healthier way but I don't know how.

                          Yeah, if you can do the tuck and sit, give it a try. You might also be able to tuck it to the side, under a thigh, which can kind of achieve a passive side-to-side stretch.

                          There may be some guys out there who can just pop a boner out of sheer will, but that's not me. Without porn, I find myself turning to my own imagination for fantasy, memories, etc. I feel like it's a step in the right direction at least. Might take a little practice if you've been relying on porn for a while.

                          Of course, if I'm actually having sex, I don't want to be in my head, I want to be right there. Hopefully this won't hinder that. Ideally, if I'm thinking anything at all it'll be, "I'm going to remember this later."

                            I'm roughly two weeks in on this new routine. Next couple days are Bathmate only.

                            I've been thinking I may just let go of the squeezes and focus on clamping. Clamping produces more pressure for me and it just seems like a more intense version of the squeezes. In fact, today during the first set, I went for 10 minutes clamping and found that it was totally fine. No signs of trauma. Good EQ after, no discoloration, no discomfort. Then, during the second set, I said, "what the hell" and went a full 15 minutes. It felt fine, no negative PI's, plus it seemed to create more expansion than usual.

                            So... maybe I'll cut out the squeezes and increase the clamping to 2 sets of 10 minutes? Or 3 sets of 10 minutes? Or 2 sets of 15 minutes? I don't know.

                            For the Bathmate, more of my sessions are in the 20 minute range now. More than that and I think I'll get edema, which I hate. But stretching and Fire Goat Rolls after the Bathmate seem to do wonders for keeping the edema down. I still wonder if doing the Bathmate on my "rest" days is defeating the purpose of having rest days, but unless my EQ takes a dive, I'll probably keep doing it.

                            What else... oh right, porn. Still porn-free for now. It's been about... 3 weeks? I've thought about it once or twice. The idea of watching porn is exciting at first, but when I actually think about it, I realize it's kind of a cheap placeholder for what I actually want, which is more/better sex.

                              Yeah I think if I was in a relationship. I'd definitely not have any use for porn. So it looks like you are mainly going for girth. Did you already make your length goals or just decided to go more for girth?
