Anyone who remembers me I'm back.

Anyone who doesn't I'd like to say hi.

After 6 months off I'm back. I've already done 8 weeks of training prior to this post and I've finally hit my last set goal after a plateau that lasted about a year.

Long decon breaks work.

Just want to highlight that statement. My own experience supports that 100%. I'm still shaking out the details from my most recent training cycle, but I had that experience too when I happened to take an 8 month break after my first increment of length gains. I thought I had gained all I was going to gain. On a whim I thought I'd see if after a long break I could gain again. I did, about 50% of what I gained the first time.

Thanks for posting about this, and welcome back!
