How long should I be holding stretches for, and for how long should the session last?

I am still kinda confused on how long I should be stretching for. I usually hold the stretches for between 5-10 seconds each direction, but is this too short a time? Also, how long should the sessions last; 15 mins? 30 mins? 1 hour? etc.

How long have you been stretching? How conditioned are you?

Hold them each for a count of kegels.. whatever that count is, is up to you. Just make sure that you RK in between kegels, take your time, and breathe. Also, don't strain yourself doing kegels.

In the JP90 it says to do 25 quick kegels with each stretch. That would be approximately 25 seconds. If you are just going to do a regular stretch then I would recommend 30 second. As far as how long the session should last, it's a matter of how long you have been at it, how consistent you have been and how conditioned you are.

I am fairly conditioned. I been at this a while, but tbh I rarely have held my stretches for longer than 10 seconds. I am starting to think it's the reason my length isn't particularly improving. It's got a little longer, but think that might be due to jelqs, not stretches.

Definitely do at least 30 second hold. Your entire session, including jelqing, should be about 30 - 40 minutes at this point.

Okay, thanks. Very rarely are my sessions that long, especially when I am focusing solely on either stretching or girth exercises. I need to up the intensity methinks. Would it be more beneficial to focus on one or the other during a session, or focus on both manual stretching and jelqs? Usually I mix it up, but don't really know which would be best.

It depends on what you are looking to gain right now. If you are looking to gain length then focus on stretching more, for girth it would be jelqing. For now I would say that you should work on both until you work your way up to a full workout.

At the end of a session you should feel like you really did something. If you finish and don't feel like it was an effective workout, then it probably wasn't.
