ED seems to be getting better, now I can't feel orgasms

So I've been having issues with erection quality for several months now, it seems to be getting steadily better, but I have noticed a new issue. Orgasms are not at all pleasurable. I can get and maintain erections much easier now, but when I climax, I just sort of kegel and ejaculate, but I don't feel the same endorphin rush. It just feels very mechanical and not really pleasurable at all. I still get erections from visual or psychological stimulation, but that's about it.

Has anyone had this before and recovered from it? I tried abstaining for a while and it seemed to have no effect.

Have your prolactin levels checked? How's your BP been?

Yea, I posted my labs in another thread. My prolactin levels are above the normal range. Free T is low too. I plan on seeing a endocrinologist but couldn't get an appointment before December :(.
I'm wondering if it's just that, or if my dopamine receptors are desensitized as well.
BP is a little bit higher than normal but not hypertensive.

I've been trying USP PowerFULL. It's good for bringing back EQ and getting morning erections. The not feeling orgasms thing seems to be unaffected. I'm not sure what causes it, but I would not be surprised at all if my hormone levels were a cause.

Is there a way to regenerate dopamine receptors? Do they regenerate on their own if left alone?

Keep taking the L-Dopa, the contractions in orgasm (vas deferens and spinal ) depend on sympathetic tone and histamine. Try adding L-Histidine and Folate. But before going any further, test your E2 level and see where it's at.

The main ingredients of PowerFULL are chlorophytum borivilianum and velvet bean extract, which seem to be more of an aphrodisiac (well at least the chlorophytum does). I guess the velvet bean contains some L-dopa.

So, from my understanding L-dopa is a precursor to dopamine, but does it do anything for dopamine receptor sensitivity?
Could taking it cause an increase in E2?

It's kind of strange, because my libido was high before, but my EQ was poor; now my EQ is better but my libido is low and I don't get as much pleasure. I would think they would go together.

L-Dopa can cause an increase in E2, but it's usually very slight, depends on your body fat level too.
Safed Musli (chlorophytum) is a testosterone booster, cholesterol transport modulator and conversion enhancer, as well as a stAR protein activator.

This leads to more testosterone on 3 levels.
1.) From conversion of Cholesterol --> DHEA
2.) Increases in stAR which would modulate the activation and release of gonadotropins; preferably enhancing neurosteroid activity and creating the enzymes for hormone conversion.
3.) A direct androgenic effect and effect on leydic receptors.

Also, in one study, Safed Musli yielded a documented increase in N.O of 1004%.
It also had antioxidant effects and immunity enhancing effects.

Thanks, when I get the time, I'll have a closer look at those studies. My body fat is 13%, so it's not that high. E2 was normal a few weeks ago when I got it tested.

That PowerFULL gives crazy nocturnal erections/morning wood. It feels like I just popped a Viagra before going to bed. It's a welcome change to having some ED, but when your libido is already low and you're trying to get some sleep, waking up to an erection that won't go away is kind of annoying, lol.
Still, I'd rather have that problem than ED.

But you're on the right track if you got positive results - so keep positive!
Not all effects are apparent in the first week, keep taking it, give it time, be patient. In the meantime, do Everything you can to reduce stress and follow up on all your appointments!

Is it a lot more beneficial to take PowerFULL at night than during the day? I tried taking it during the day once instead of at night and I felt more energetic and proactive than I have in a while.

Maybe it's just that most of my ED problems were hormonal, but this stuff feels like herbal Viagra, I took two before bed one night (as it suggests to work up to on the bottle) and that was too much. Waking up multiple times in the middle of the night to an erection is getting old.

Taking it at night helps growth hormone release, but you can take it during the day or split it up how you like.
And nocturnal erections are a good thing brother - that's a sign your endocrine/circulatory system is in check.
Great to hear you are doing better!

Thought I'd update, still been taking PowerFULL every night, but the bonus it gave me seems to have faded after a few months. I'm not sure why. I'm pretty much back to where I started, but the supplements aren't benefiting my EQ like they did before.
