Just do them, don't over think this stuff. One stroke one rep, three strokes one rep, whatever. Do what you want, do it right and do it consistently. If you make gains keep at it, if you experience negative PI's, reduce and rest. If gains aren't coming and your unit is fine, increase the count or change the routine. Many are making this into more than it is. We aren't sheep and one size does not fit all. Basic starter routines are excellent, time tested practices, but the particulars are left to the individual.
